Not even Thailand can make Thai food quite like this, I had the Deep Fried Quail and Rice paper spring rolls for entree followed by Chicken Panang and Soft Shell crab for main with a Thai beef salad to share. Everything was perfection. The soft shell crab was cooked so beautifully it literally melted in your mouth, and with every bite of the Thai beef salad a new flavour exploded in my mouth.
The staff are polite and happy, so rare in today's "hospitality" industry. I could not fault a single element of this establishment, whether it be ambience, food or service, everything combined provided an exceptional dining experience that I won't soon forget.
My wife won't go near Thai food, she went to Thailand a few years ago and the food was drenched in fish sauce. I finally convinced my wife to try some Thai and knew of Thai Elements via my sister's recommendation. We ordered Penang Curry (Chicken) and an Oyster garlic dish with a prawn dish entrée.
My wife loved it. She couldn't believe the flavours. Everything was lovely and fresh the veggies had a crisp freshness to them and all the meat cuts were lean. We both loved it well done. Flavours were lovely. General stuff, parking is great. The service was very fast. We went on a night that seemed reasonably busy, very fast service. We ordered our entrées to come with mains and everything turned up as requested.
We have had some dreadful experiences with service staff recently at some other local restaurants, not here. The waitress was very switched on and was able to recommend dishes and knew her stuff. For 2 mains an entrée + 2 drinks about 41 dollars. Excellent value I thought. We will return and we will be bringing friends.
I learned of this restaurant on this website while looking for local Thai places. It was very close to home so we thought we'd give it a bash. It is located within a reasonably new shopping complex on a busy corner. Parking was plentiful. The restaurant is small and new looking with simple but pleasant decor. With two 6-seater tables and the remainder 2-seaters, the place would only hold several decent groups of diners with a bit of table joining.
It was a Friday evening and the lone waitress was very busy. I got the feeling that Elements is geared more for the take-away than the eat in. The influx of take-away customers and phone calls kept the poor girl away from the diners for a little too long. Another person at the desk would solve that problem.
The food was tasty but a little on the generic side. Three different styles of meals had exactly the same combination of vegetables. Healthy, yes but not super authentic. The penang beef was enjoyable and rice was plentiful. When she wasn't dealing with the take-away, the waitress was friendly and helpful.
The traffic noise was noticeable so the front door should be left closed. At $67 for two and a half diners, I left Elements feeling that I hadn't quite got value for money.
