Have been here a few times, enjoy Pad Kee Mao, Red curry, the chicken wrapped in leaves (Khai Hoh Bai Toey?), pad thai, pad see yu, cashew chicken. Love the Artarmon special.
Quick cooking for pickup. Friendly staff, wouldn't eat in as it's nicer to eat at home. I'm sure they would gain a lot of customers if they revamped by repainting, tablecloths and new chairs (awful vinyl). I agree it's a shame to see so many people walking past to Genki or Sushi-ya.

I'm wondering if the good reviews below went to the same place as the experience I've had is completely different. Maybe they have changed chefs/ownership?
A few weeks ago, being new to the area, we picked up some menus from all the local Thai/Indian restaurants and we thought we would try Thai Charm, what a mistake that was! It has to be the worst Thai food not only in Artarmon, but possibly Sydney!
The portions were abysmal for the price, no more than 6 very small bites of chicken were to be found in the chicken panang, which was largely carrots, in a drizzle of sauce. The beef with ginger stir fry we had was much the same, very little meat and not very much else, dreadful value and the taste wasn't great either, so no redeeming qualities. We also ordered the money bags, also the worst we have ever encountered.
I am sorry if this critique is harsh, but I have to be honest here, maybe it will make them realise that there is a lot of competition in the area and they need to be greatly improved to even be in the race.

I am a regular patron of Thai charm and I believe it is the most fantastic Thai restaurant on the north shore. They are fantastic with their service, the meals are great value for money and taste amazing! Please go there and try it for yourself, you will not be disappointed!

Usually get a takeaway from here but recently ate in as a group of 7. We all enjoyed the food (5 mains, 3 entrees), service was great and the value excellent. While there are lots of Thai restaurants around this one gives you good honest value.

I have eaten at Thai Charm for ten years, so I am a regular patron. The food that they make is excellent. You just can't complain because the taste is always at its top quailty. The Pad-Thai dish that they make is the best than anywhere else. Also the dishes like the Chicken Cashew Nut, The Curries and Tom Yums are also good. I will still love their food, better than any other Thai places.

As a local I normally have takeaway but dining in is always pleasant as the staff are friendly. Good value and fast service. I've tasted a lot of Thai and this is still my favourite.

A very sweet little Thai restaurant in this lovely small street next to Artarmon Station. It's closed off from the road so you don't hear any traffic noise, so it's perfect for a nice quiet, relaxing night out. The service is very prompt and the waiters are polite and friendly. The menu has some of the most tasty and fresh Thai food on the north shore.

The staff here seem aware of the fact that the place is overshadowed by the ever-bustling Sushi-Ya / Ramen Genki monolith. They do, however, aim to please - a pity, then, that the quality food was not worth the pretty standard prices.
The ambience is terrible - sitting outside and watching people stream in and out of the Japanese places, 95% giving Thai Charm a miss, is quite depressing.

The quality of the food has really gone downhill here, the last couple of times our meals have been bland and tasteless. Even dishes marked as 'hot' on the menu taste of nothing. We won't be back.
