Overview of Tank Stream Bar

Tank Stream Bar is tucked away in a secluded spot down Tank Stream Alley. Serving up great food and an inviting ambiance it’s the perfect place to enjoy a fine glass of wine and hand-selected cheeses.

While there’s plenty of seating outside, it’s inside where history really comes alive. Warm lighting reveals an ancient wooden ceiling, and wine-rack walls serve as a reminder of Sydney’s convict past. Early settlers chose the tank stream as their source of fresh water. And while the stream itself now flows underground, the bar remains one of Sydney’s favourite watering holes.

    Best up-market, after-work bar in the CBD. Set back from Pitt St., down the Tank Stream Alley, the bar is relatively secluded, with cool furnishings, subtle ambience and a well-dressed crowd of bankers and lawyers.
