    It is a nice looking restaurant, and the food was alright, although I have had better. The chicken Tikka was lovely, but the chicken Korma wasn't as good as other places that I have been to. The staff seemed a bit slow in getting around to take our order despite the fact that it was very quiet, but once they took our order everything arrived at the right time. So overall, it is a nice Indian restaurant.

    Firstly,thanks so much for your review.We really do appreciate the time you've taken to write your feedback! And most importantly,we are really happy to hear that we could deliver our food right on time.

    Having said that,I course apologize if there was a delay in the ordering. I can only say that we like to give people time to peruse the menu (it was 12 pages after all!) and more importantly, we don't like to push people to order before they are ready,as from our experience that can come off a bit 'pushy'.

    However, please accept my sincere apologies in regards to this. Also I hope to persuade you on your next visit that like our Chicken Tikka, the other dishes we have to offer (and our Chicken Korma as well, yes! :) is like no other!

    Thank you once again! We'll be taking your feedback on board for sure and we hope to see you at our restaurant in the near future, especially since we've added our new menu! :)

    I can't advise about the service or ambience yet because I've only had takeaway from here. I will update my review once I've dined in. The food is vey good and the best Indian I've ever had. The chicken jalfrezi is a personal Favourite. I look forward to a night out here without the kids but hubby does tell me the decor is lovely.

    Update: I dined in with my husband last week and we had a lovely time. The food was amazing and the restaurant was quite relaxing to dine in. The Royal court dish from the specialities menu was recommended to me and and it did not fail to tantalise the taste buds. We were very pleased with the service and value. This is the best Indian restaurant in the Hills district, in my opinion.

    We frequent here a lot. Recently took some friends who eat a lot of Indian who said it was the best they've had. Love it for casual dining option.

    We have been going to the Tandoori Sizzler for years and we have never had a bad meal. The service can be a bit slow when they have new staff. It is our favourite restaurant.

    It is amazing that a restaurant of this quality only gets a low score, we have been coming to Tandoori Sizzler from the very beginning and have seen all the changes. We have no vested interest we just love good Indian food and have to visit every week to feed the cravings. If you have not been here within the last 2 years then come back and experience the best Indian food in Sydney, just ask the Staff to advise you on different dishes and they will assist you, everyone is very helpful.

    The Decor is so improved and the Restaurant Very clean, food is fantastic so do not be misled by poor reviews which have no reflection on the current owners. Keep up the good work and we will keep coming back. Regards, JVC.

    Definitely the best Indian restuarant in the area. Service is much better than what I've experienced at other Indian restaurants, my family and I had a great time. Takeaway from here is great too. Terrific menu with lots of variety.

    Probably the best Indian in the area. Service is not consistent, have had great and bad service here on different occasions. The decor has recently been updated and looks really nice. Takeaway from here is great too. Really good menu with lots of room for change and choice of heat etc.

    My husband and I had dinner here last Friday night to celebrate paying off our mortgage. The food was excellent and the service was great but the cocktail I ordered was really sweet, watery and tasted horrible. The air conditioning was so cold that it made it a little difficult to enjoy our night.

    I wish you'd let us know about the air-conditioning! I am incredibly sorry about this! we usually set the air-con around 21-22 but I'm guessing with the cold weather it is probably too cold still! will definitely change the settings I can assure you :)

    Also I am so sorry about the cocktail as well! I don't know what you had but I can assure you if you had let me know on the night I would have taken it off your bill without any questions at all, better yet remind me next time and I will credit it towards your bill. will have to train my staff better in the art of cocktail making!

    oh and congrats on the life sans mortgage! wow! not an easy feat :)

    Was here last weekend and I must agree with the review below, the place was pretty much at capacity and everyone seemed to be running at maximum speed.

    As far as the food and service go, we opted for the seafood banquet and everything that came through was delicious. I couldn't fault anything and we weren't even charged for any substitutions that we made.

    Yes, the food did take awhile to come out (we ordered at around 7:30 and got our entrees about 25 minutes, half an hour later) but we had no problems with that given we were quite a large group, 12 to be exact.

    Still, the owner/s did apologize for the delay and it was nice that they recognized this as a lot of places seem to avoid the customers when things are going pear shape. Also they didn't give us some cock-bull story about missing orders or whatever. Well done guys! I will be recommending the place to my friends.

    My experience at the Sizzler was absolutely, amazing! The green fish curry is to die for! The staff were friendly and very helpful, the vibe was buzzing as it was a frosty Saturday night, everyone was cool, calm and collected. My compliments to the chef, well done guys! I strongly recommend you try it.
