When first walking into Tandoori Palace, you may need to take a step back as the recent renovations are quite breathtaking. The original timber floors, tinned pressed high ceilings, breathtaking bar, marbled featured walls all make for a fresh, modern, sleek, feel-good dining experience. The service is friendly and professional, yet without being intrusive, and the quality and quantity of the food are generous at affordable prices.

    Have found the best Indian in Sydney and am now an addict or "regular".
    Best Cheese naan bread ever! I could happily live in the stuff. But their curries are also a level above every other Indian restaurant I've been to. The food won't disappoint.

    I organised my work christmas party @ Tandoori Palace this year. We have a very diverse group and I was a little worried it may not have been everyone's "thing" but the feed back I have got has been that everyone had an amazing time, they are still talking about how much of a wonderful time it was.

    Special Mention To Shazy for his entertainment and crowd interaction, really made the night. Thanks again for a great night.

    Came here last week with a few friends. At the time the restaurant was packed, so we were lucky to get a table. We thought the Butter Chicken and the Korma's were great & in flavour. The ambience is great, and we never had to lift a finger for the staff. Highly recommended.

    This place is amazing, I never knew what real indian food was until I went to Tandoori palace. I have introduced a number of people to Tandoori Palace and they love it just as much as i do. I eat at Tandoori Palace at least once a week. Everything comes out so fresh and the service is absolutely fantastic.

    I had my 21st Birthday dinner in the Karaoke room of Tandoori Palace earlier last month and what can I say? This place is absolutely fantastic!

    The food was delicious (3 course set menu), the ambience was great and the service was absolutely exceptional! The wait staff there are so patient and helpful. The manager was also very flexible and generous in helping me organise the event. No extra charges for cakage or usage of the stereo system were requested, which was great.

    Highly recommended restaurant, especially for their function room! We had the entire downstairs level to ourselves, a personal bar, wait staff, dj system and dining area. No extra charges were requested for cakage nor usage of the stereo.

    We hosted our Christmas Party here, and it was fantastic. With 50 people, we had the Karaoke room to ourselves! We hired the entertainment they provided, of the belly dancer and Drag Queen host, and this was the perfect touch that really made the evening.

    The wait staff were all so friendly and accommodating, and the bar tender was fast, friendly, and great at controlling beverages to those he was thinking were drinking too much. Food was good, and they even accommodated and made our special request for Chicken Biryani!

    We will return! It was a fantastic evening!

    Overall rating 7.9? This must be a joke! We went to the Tandoori Palace last Friday because of the rave review here on a Eatability.

    The food was mediocre. We, four of us had the banquet that included some pre set mixed entree, choice of mains and desserts. The entree lacked on authentic Indian flavours in particular the chicken tikka found very bland. The mains were also served in small protions that also lacked on flavour. Sadly we were served on a tiny table that we couldn't even have our glasses on the table.

    The service, what service! We had to ask the waiter several times if she could clear the table and serve us basics such as desserts. This restaurant is definitely not worth the rating and I would recommend anytime MAYA Da DHABA on Cleveland street, Surry Hills or Malabar on Victoria street, Darlinghurst as a good Indian restaurant with a fantastic service. Mind you I am a chef myself. I won't be back there again sorry.

    Just Have to say that this venue is Sensational. If you are after a Fun and Fabulous time, then this is the place to go. Not only was the atmosphere, entertainment and food amazing but so too were the staff. They make you feel warm and welcome from the moment you walk through the door. Don't worry if you think some of your party won't join in the festivities and entertainment, because the staff have a way of making it fun and assist in getting the party started without making people feel awkward.

    The drag queen is also one of the best parts of the evening. You will need botox by the end of the evening from all the laughter lines caused during the entertainment. Highly, highly recommend this venue and to top it off, the owner Stephanie is fantastic at making all your arrangements run as smooth as a ship sailing on a still night. BTW, did I mention how affordable this venue is! You will not regret for a moment this choice of venue, book Now and Enjoy, Enjoy, Enjoy!

    Recommended by friends, maybe just on the day we had our dinner the service was poor and the food is awful. Not worth the money you spent. Definitely not going back there again.

    Tandoori Palace made our hen's night perfect. Dinner, dance, drag queen, karaoke...everything we wanted was in one spot!

    Food was nice (very generous). Shows were fantastic. Belly dance was a good start. And the highlight was of course the drag queen. She was soooooo funny! We all laughed and laughed whole night. We had karaoke and dance with her, it was so much fun! And still more, all staffs there were so friendly. Unbelievably good service.

    It's too good be true to get all these for only $50 per person! We couldn't be happier. It was the best night we had ever. I couldn't stop laughing even the day after. Thank you Stephany so much for making our night so special. We will definitely come back!
