Their chicken dish is absolutely delightful. All their dishes are unique some with bread roll. If you do not mind the buzz and the hurry up of the tables this place is worth a try. Cheap as dirt. worth trying.

What can I say? the best crispy chicken in all Australia? quite possibly be.
Always some sort of queue in the weekend but worth the wait. Will I be back? Yes of course! this chicken is addictive.

Use to be great when it was a little shop. Flavour has been compromised due to the new restaurant size and the amount of ppl that now fit in their shop. Still okay, but not as good as before.

We enthusiastically entered this restaurant spurred on by the excellent reviews from eatability. Maybe we expected too much. What this is deep fried un-seasoned, un-coated, un-interesting bony bland chicken. I know that we were provided with sides and sauces to make the meal but it's just deep fried chicken.
Sorry but I don't get what all the fuss is about.

What I do have praise for is the drop noodles, they have a wonderfully moreish chewy texture that I would gladly sit down to on any given day but they can keep the chicken. The service was very prompt and above average. The restaurant was clean and bright. As far as I am concerned this is okay but doesn't live up to the hype, give me duck pancakes any day over the famed Tan Viet crispy skinned chicken.

I brought my Singaporean neighbour, who lives in Australia for half the year, and a friend to this restaurant because it had the best rating on Eatability for Cabramatta. We had endless tea, crispy skinned chicken with tomato rice, herbed duck with noodles and goat curry with a bread roll. All of this for $33. The place was full for Thursday lunch but we weren't rushed, the food came quickly and was first class.

We've eaten here plenty of times as have many other people. A very popular Vietnamese restaurant at the top end of John Street. Its signature dish is crispy chicken with egg noodles (and you've gotta have it dry). On a Saturday morning you will find yourself lining up outside and are usually seated and eating in about 15 minutes.

Its a very noisy and jammed packed restaurant so its not the place to take friends and relax and enjoy the meal, you basically try to get in, eat and get out. However, if you haven't eaten here before you must go and give I a try, everyone knows this place for their signature dish so its good to eat the best even if the atmosphere isn't the most pleasant.

They do serve other types of rice and egg noodles as well as rice, but you don't go here to eat anything else but the crispy skin chicken and egg noodles. Make sure you order the ice coffee as with any Vietnamese restaurant.

Give it a go if you haven't already, then decide later if its your cup of tea, but its worth the effort. If you can, go on a weekday so you can enjoy your meal at a relaxed paced without feeling rushed. Hope this helps, enjoy.

Fantastic food. My Vietnamese nail artist recommended this restaurant. We had to queue for ten minutes for a table but the wait was well worth it. The crispy chicken was fantastic, so crisp but so juicy inside. The beef casserole was tender and full of flavour. There were 3 of us and we had four meals drinks and the bill was $37.00. Amazing food and great prices, you could imagine being in Vietnam without the jet lag.

The crispy chicken drop noodles is pretty delicious here. The soup tastes quite decent as I have been to many asian/vietnamese restaurants where the soup would leave me very thirsty and this soup doesn't (probably too much msg or something in the others).

I have to admit that I don't like eating here sometimes because when it gets busy (which is always!) the seating arrangement can be quite awful. For example, one time I went with my sister and instead of placing us right in front of each other (sharing a table of six with other people) we were sitting next to each other in front of complete strangers. It was really uncomfortable eating in front of people we didn't know and having them slurp noodles and blow their noses while we were trying to eat.

Other than this incident the few other times we have been there has been pretty good. Would definitely be back for food (however, never during lunch on weekends as the queue is generally ridiculous).

It was really crowded when I got here and I had to queue for about 25 minutes before got seated, but it was worth it as the crispy chicken noodle is really nice here. The best I have ever had. The skin is really crispy and the meat is not dry at all, it is really juicy. I will definitely come back again here to try the crispy chicken with tomato rice!

Best crispy chicken n dried noodle in cabramatta! Well, prob best in Sydney too!
If you look at all the other tables, every single table has crispy chicken. Get the crispy chicken and you can't wrong. About 10 bucks for crispy chicken and noodles.
