Really good food! I went there during the week, it wasn't busy and I didn't have to wait for the meals. I decided to roder the classic garlic prawns, to hare wit my boyfriend, but the owner of the place suggested us to order the other prawns, with a juicy tomato sauce. Thank you! They were great! We should order 2 servings and not one to share! Then we order the espetada, meat in a skewers, cooked medium with olive oil garlic and bay leaves, beautiful! Perfect servings for 2 people. We went out satisfied, not stuffed, very pleased!
We went just on the 4th of July 2008 for a friend's birthday. The food was great especially the sangria (best I've had) - a bit on the expensive side but great service and ambience.
I went here a couple of months ago by accident and can't wait to go back. Sitting out in the garden was beautiful (maybe not for dinner in winter) and the food was the most amazing I have ever had. Highly recommend the barramundi, perfection!! I'm be back for sure.
Can't resist good quality meat Portugese style. Have been to the one in Dulwich Hill which is not fancy but tasty. So some high expectations for this stylish venue.
Weekday business lunch with an authentic Portugese spin...I was assured by my Portugese colleague. Certainly lived up to the reputation. Had a lovely steak with fried egg and homemade chips Portugese style. Quality of meat was excellent and a good portion size. Steaks as good as Meat&WineCo in Darling Harbour. Chips were tasty also.
Wine list is decent. Unfortunately no Portugese red by the glass to go with my steak. Settled for a decent Aussie red.
Nice coffee. My colleague order a tasty creme caramel, very nice.
I'm told the lunch menu is limited and less authentic Portugese than the dinner menu...so I'll be back for dinner. Stay tuned.
Saturday evening dinner here was a delight. Friendly atmosphere, good service, outside table not noisy and very nice food. The beef specialty lived up to is name. We will be back.
Great place, very nice and warm atmosphere, been to this restaurant a million times, and every time is better, the service is great although we miss the little colombian waiter (he was very friendly). The food is amazing, try the spetada (best meat in Sydney), good wine list. I encourage everyone to try it, you will love it too.
Terrible!! The food was overpriced and limited, the service was slow, inattentive and unapologetic. We were celebrating a special occasion and all 12 of us left in disgust after paying an extortionate bill. Don't do it guys!
Excellent place for dining, particularly for the last evening in Sydney. Excellent food and ambience. Prompted us to look for portugese restaurants elsewhere.
