I visit Tablespoon regularly for both personal and business meetings, mainly for breakfast. It is spacious, modern, and the staff are pretty efficient (although the faces change a lot).

The coffee is very and the occasional breakfast has been good but not great or memorable - after my many visits to Melbourne and Sydney's east and inner west, I believe Sydney's North Shore and its breakfast offerings by contrast are unimaginative and boring. So by contrast, Tablespoon does not stack up, but compared with the rest of Sydney's north shore, it is quite good.

Breakfast is great and they are only of the few places on the north shore open before 8:30 am for breakfast on a Sunday, which is great when you have young kids who are up early and hungry! A little pricey compared to other offerings around, but friendly service and consistently good food keep us coming back!

Great little spot for breakfast. Easy to get to, easy to park. My partner and I went there and really enjoyed it. He had a big breakie and ate every mouthful. I had lovely smoked salmon eggs. I hadn't been there for years. I think it has new management now. The staff are quite young but friendly. Coffee was fantastic. Will definitely go back again - there aren't too many really good places for breakfast on the north shore.

We've been for breakfast a few times and the food and service have been very good. I think many of the items on the menu are pretty pricey for what they are (e.g. 7.50 for croissant with jam, 9 for banana bread with ricotta and honey) and it's the most expensive big breakfast I've ever had, but also the biggest. It's very family friendly with several high chairs and plenty of families the times we've been, as well as older couples, groups of friends, etc so quite popular across the board. Nice and cozy on a rainy day, and not too loud even with all the people. As others have mentioned it's easy to find and park which isn't that common in Lindfield.

We really like this place, easy to find, easy to park, dog friendly. My wife and I are always doing brunch on the weekend and trying to find a place to take our pup. Really good food, great coffee and staff and management are very efficient. Brunch runs all day on weekends that too is hard to find at other cafes.

Had the most terrific Xmas function at this wonderful place last Saturday night. Great finger food, complimented by good wines and great customer service. We found Tablespoon on the internet and would only be able to give this our highest recommendation. Our business is based in Macquarie Park and although not next door we would gladly travel to be a customer of Tablespoon again.

We visit Tablespoon regularly, and always get consistency and value for our money. It's the kind of place that is good for a quick take away coffee or a good quality upmarket cafe feed. Great corn fritters, great eggs benedict and great sardines. We keep returning.

What a great hidden gem! You could drive through the North Shore constantly and not know this place existed. But once you've been there, oh yes, you just keep on returning (even if just for a takeaway coffee). A friend had a function there the other evening and said they couldn't fault it. I rang them today to enquire about a work Christmas Party and found the dates are already starting to fill up but we got one.

Have been out here from the UK with my family for 6 months. I wish we had something like this back home. Great coffee, wide selection of good food and outdoor dining as well. Its a great place and always busy.

Recently had my daughters 21st birthday at Tablespoon. We had about 70 guests and we could not fault this place. What a superb venue for a function. My experience of previous kids parties have been just one big headache. So having this one at Tablespoon meant my husband and I had a great time too. Wonderful food, we had mains and desserts and impeccable service. We highly recommend Tablespoon for a most memorable night.
