I have been Thai on Sky for over 5 years. The food are always good. The black board always highly recommended. Massaman lamb shank is to die for. The service is good, they are perfect English. It was full house that Saturday night. Six of us on the table were comfortable. We have a very enjoyable night.

From the outside Thai Garlic looks very promising. Where it completely fails to deliver is in service. The female staff are very pleasant, but the senior staff completely lacks any social skills or basic service elements which completely overshadows everything. Absolutely failed to interact on any level, was unattentive, dismissive or interested on any level to deliver a dining experience.

Unfortunately, the food was only just average. We have dined there several times over the years and certainly will never go back again. McDonalds provides superior customer service.

Very good food and service. Excellent choice of dishes and definitely caters for vegetarians. BYO is a bonus. Can be a little noisy but that just adds to the atmosphere. Will certainly being going back.

Great food but shocking service! If you want someones attention you're better off getting up and finding someone rather than trying to catch their attention. Also if you are there close to close time, expect them to whip out a cleaning mop and start stacking chairs. Otherwise a good little place with decent atmosphere.

Absolute garbage. Panang Curry beef was white in colour due to the large amount of coconut cream in the dish. All other dishes has large amounts of vegetables and very little meat. Bland, tasteless and I couldn't even call it thai. Shameful.

We love the Little Monk for dine in or takeaway. The pork belly is especially delicious, but everything that comes out of that tiny kitchen is a sensation.

Very disappointing Ordered Panang Beef Curry, beef was very tough and chewy. Beef Pad Thai was even worse beef was like shoe leather, looked like meat from the day before just reheated. Sweet Chilli Fish Fillet serving was on the small side.

Well worth a visit. Let's eat Thai is a warm and authentic Thai restaurant. Have been on many occasions and each time the dishes have been delicious, suggest you try any of the pork belly dishes, the delightful chicken larb, or a tangy som tum. Nice ambience to eat in, with byo and friendly staff.

Came in with family for lunch. Had no issues getting a table. Service was ok but very unattentive and lazy.

As for the food we got 3 dishes which all tasted very similar even though they should have been very different. Beef was tough and not a lot of seafood given. It was more of a chinese meal rather than Thai.

Would not be back here in a hurry.

Real Authentic Thai food. I am Thai and working around the area, Myself and my partner been to this place at least twice a week. The food is just like back home, I wish one day 'Kao Soi' and 'Kuay teaw Nua' will appear on the menu.
Reasonable prices, Clean and Friendly service, This is the main reason we going back quite often.

Used to be Stir Thai and ok but not special. Now new Name and much improved. Extensived menu, very good food and friendly, quick service. Even at 7pm on a Monday night there was only one table available so others must agree. I will be back soon!

I really like the food here, great stir frys, lovely fresh salads but to survive in Balmain this version of Spice I Am needs to:

Allow BYO - at least on weeknights, when it is often close to empty, start taking bookings, get rid of the ridiculous 3% surcharge on all cards (even Eftpos)

Service is ok, but while there are lots of other good Asian restaurants in Balmain that allow BYO, take bookings and let me use my credit card without any extra charges, I'll be avoiding Spice I Am. A pity really.

We were a group of 6 eating here 26/5 and were worried after reading previous review. Not sure if they went to the same place but the food was great tasting, fresh and came quickly. Servers were pleasant, came back with plenty of rice and cold water for the table. Altogether a pleasant experience and would return and recommend to others.

New comer, Caysorn is one of a few Thai restaurant in Sydney trying to break through the ceiling and offering the uniquely Southern Thai cuisine which renown for its spiciness, marinated and local ingredient such as Sator (Stink Bean or in Indonesian we called it Pete) and Kapi - Shrimp Paste (Terasi or more famous it's called Belacan).

We had lunch here using a Living Social voucher and were very impressed with the decor, service and meal options. It was great to see a varied cafe menu with very reasonable prices. Being a local, I'll be sure to stop by in future for economical breakfasts and lunches.

The most delicious garlic rice is on offer here and some decent Thai dishes with a bit of a twist such as the Mieng Khumm egg nets with prawn and chicken mince and betel leaves.

It's a modern Thai restaurant with a pretty interior but our only issue was that after we finished their first bowl of complimentary addictive prawn crackers, they brought us out another bowl without even asking, so we thought was a generous refill but they ended up charging us on the final bill, so if you don't need that second bowl of prawn crackers - tell the waitresses!
