We live in Narrabeen and have been waiting a while a restaurant like this to start up locally, so we were really excited to try it out. As new parents to a newborn, it was our first (and long awaited) dinner out and as such, we were really looking forward to it. I had walked past numerous times and always seen the beautiful dishes served to people eating there.
The restaurant is beautiful, waitstaff were very friendly and helpful, and the menu had lots of great options. Our only complaint, and the reason we have not returned, is that my husband ordered a $48 wagyu steak and asked for it to come medium/rare, and to his disappointment, it came medium/well-done.
The only reason we did not send it back, is that we were quite pressed for time (with a newborn due to wake up) so, we left feeling a little disappointed. Other than that, the rest of the food was delicious, which is why I have given it a 7/10.

I like Seachange for brekkie. The food is always consistent. Love the Cali.
The thing I don't like about Seachange is that the tables are so crammed in that you feel like you are sitting on top of the people around you. You actually have to stand up at times to allow people to get around you. The staff are young generally so sometimes service can be hit and miss but we go back.

Went to MUMU for a Sunday lunch, were possibly the only customers at the time, which could explain the attentive staff!
Food was amazing, couldn't fault anything. We had the meatballs for an entree, and the steak and roast chicken for mains. Superb! Expensive, but worth every cent.

Have been to this restaurant on many occasions with mixed results. The couple we were dining with arrived a few minutes before us, and their pre-dinner drink had just arrived as we got to the table.
The inability to get the attention of someone to allow us to order a drink set the precedence for the evening. Our companions mentioned several times the inability to get service when required, (quote "the staff here are very good at not making eye contact). We had a white and a red wine (not the cheapest restaurant for wines).
The red was "stored" by the staff and I think this is fine, as long as they take responsibility for ensuring the glasses are replenished, since the bottle isn't at the table to allow you to do this yourself. Waiters emerge when they want to sell you something, or you become invisible.
Food was Ok. I think the service and food is better at lunchtimes. I note other reviews mention the oysters as not fresh, however, I found them fine on this occasion.
I ordered the special steak (the carcass got 2nd place at the Easter Show and they "were sure to sell the final cuts of it tonight"). It wasn't as good as I've had there, and I was a little envious of the steaks everyone else ordered. (I don't learn - I've been trick into this before, and am invariably disappointed).
Steaks were well cooked. One comment about the accompanying sauce. At $3.50 each, being a small individual serving of the Bearnaise or Green Peppercorn of about 30 mls - adds $14 to a bill for 4. If you want to really enjoy the view, go for lunch.
I'll certainly be back, probably for a business lunch. I'm less sure about the venue for a social night out.

OUTBACK JACK is the worst restaurant I've ever been to. Most come here for the steak and thats what we had. The service is terrible, the staff are polite but unhelpful, had no idea about the food, recommendation except take your order.
The restaurant was 1/3 full so we didn't expect to wait long for our meals. Oh boy were we wrong we waited, waited, waited, we seriously believe they have forgotten our order when asked they checked for us then only after 45 minutes of wait we finally got our steaks.
Lets talk about the steaks, the second my knife digged into the steak I knew it wasn't fresh and it was over cooked the steak came charred black and I ordered medium. The steak was so tough I can barely cut it and so chewy I felt my jaws cramming up. None of my family could enjoy it.
The price at this place is fine if the meal was anything like hogs breath but for what we got it was not worth it. Overpriced for rubbish food. Never go there again and for anyone who's thinking of going Highly recommend against it, do yourself a favour take 15 steps and go somewhere else instead or KFC the food there may not be restaurant food but atleast you won't be ripped off with disappointing food and service.
One last thing we were so disappointed with the meal, I wanted to let them know just how bad their food was but I didn't give the staff a hard time they are only there to serve, the person should be blamed for is the kitchen staff. My wife worked as a restaurant staff before and it would be wrong to have a go at the staff when its the kitchen staff and management thats really incompetent and lack the skills to cook anything decent.
Huge disappointment! Waste of money. Never go there again. You can do better yourself if you go to woolworth buy 600g steak for $12 and cook it yourself be so much better than Outback Jack's $15 insult. Hard to imagine some people give it a good review you must be kidding yourself. As an honest customer (once and only once) I serioulsy will not step into this place. Stop and turn back you'll do yourself a big favour!

My girl and I wandered into this restaurant for breakfast and were very happy with our meal. I ordered the open omelette, which was rich and full of flavor without being too greasy. She ordered the folded omelette, which she loved as well. The coffee had flavor without being heavy. A great meal at a reasonable price.

We just went unplanned towards Cremorne area for a night out for dinner and I left this place so disappointed. I didn't want any of the mains on the menu so ordered a couple of the starters which were quite expensive for they were. My husband got the pork belly for main and it was a very fatty piece with little actual edible meat on it, that had been microwaved, just disgusting! There are much better places in the area with better value too.

What a hidden gem this restaurant is. Had the pleasure of dining here on Thursday night after purchasing a voucher off one of the internet sites and so pleased I did.
The food was alot better cooked and presented than alot of restaurants I have been to in the City. A chef that actually knows what a semi rear steak is, such a pleasure to eat. As for the desserts well the senses both visual and taste were sent into overload. Many thanks for a meal to remember will be returning again and maybe even on a night when there is a floorshow on.

After buying vouchers through Cudo and seeing the reviews on this page, we entered the venue with a lot of trepidation expecting the worst. As soon as we walked in we were pleasantly surprised the staff were friendly, efficient and entertaining paying special attention to our two young children.
The food is value for money and the venue although old was clean. The place was busy and looking around at the tables everyone looked to be enjoying themselves. Yes the props are cheap and cheesy but that's the fun of it. My only criticism is that the venue has the potential to be a really scary theatre restaurant if it had more fun playing on the scary theme (think of Draculas in Melbourne and QLD).
Overall a good family night enjoyed by all. My advice don't listen to what people have written you need to experience it yourself.

Boy this place has changed and not for the better. I have been here many times (~50), and previously loved their pork ribs. This time, 4 of us went, all having the pork ribs.
One of our party presented a 20%-off voucher on ordering. This was not a purchased coupon, but a voucher that was emailed out to regular customers.
I think it's important to mention the voucher, because it's unclear whether the it determined the quality of ribs we were served. The ribs were clearly from a different source from any other time I have been here over the last 12 years.
They were very poorly butchered - mine still had the membrane and stray meat on the inside. The ribs had also been undercooked, so were also tough.
These were some of the worst pork ribs I'd ever had. The waiter refunded one of the meals, but really, we shouldn't have had to pay for any.
There's other rib places around... there's at least 2 within 10 minutes walk of Tony Roma's that don't skimp on the meat quality.
Go to one of those instead!

My wife and I popped for lunch after a movie @ the Ritz this afternoon. From the specials board we both chose the Beef Daube Pie with Chocolate Mousse for $16. The menu had the price @ $20. The waiter, a very polite young French fellow, was surprised that the board was so wrong and he appropriately charged us the $16.
The pie was 'homemade' and pretty good albeit the meat a bit dry, but I didn't mind that too much. It came with a green salad dressed with a good quality balsamic vinegar. However, the mousse appeared to be a little old being thick and dry on top. It tasted Ok. The coffee was not as good as it should have been. However, it was a nice place to sit on a sunny afternoon.
Overall, our experience didn't convince us to return for an evening meal.

I think we were the first customers for the day and the waitress hadn't "hit her groove". When I asked for Pinot Grigio "We don't do that." When OH asked for VB "We don't do that." We asked for something else, "We don't do that."
Very frustrating, as we had to ask for the wine menu rather than being offered it.
However, she finally hit her groove, and we had our drinks, warm, crusty, complimentary bread and butter to get us on our way and then our gorgeous dishes. We both had different cuts of steaks and both were cooked to perfect, tender and delicious, though next time I will definitely ask for Unbasted. I find it a bit disappointing there is no side salad with the steaks, I love salad, but I guess given the quality of the steaks that paying $5 for salad on the side (enough to share between 2) is worth it.
We didn't order dessert as we were far too full from our lunches. Will definitely return!

I purchased 2 vouchers for this establishment, 1 for my wife and 1 for myself. I was very disappointed to find that on making a booking that we could only use one voucher as the other person must purchase a meal. Although the ribs were good and ample it certainly spoilt the occasion and I don't know why a business using the voucher system would expect that only 1 person would purchase just for themselves. I now have to return to use the other voucher but other than that reason I would not be planning a return visit in the future.
