This is an excellent place. Staff are wonderful, the food is simple but so well prepared and delicious. They are local to where we live, so will definitely be a regular customer.

My partner decided to buy dinner for my family as we are living with my parents after the birth of my baby 8wks ago. Unfortunately, my partner left his wallet on the counter after paying by credit card and even more unfortunate was the fact that he had a lot of money in there. He'd missed the bank and had the work takings in his wallet.

My partner has to pay this money back to his work. He blames himself for being careless. I'm upset as it would've been nice if the wallet had been honestly handed in by either the staff or another customer. With at least ten staff and very few customers at this time it's a shame no one noticed the left behind wallet.

A very expensive takeaway night for a new family. Apart from this the food was ok. My partner had phoned ahead and the pizza was ready and waiting when he arrived. The lamb and chicken pizzas were especially good. Large generous servings of meat on a healthy crust. Unfortunately, though we won't be going back as it holds expensive memories for us.

This placed is always packed and popular in the evenings, particularly on weekends and last Friday did we got lucky by dropping in without a reservation. We were told from the outset that yes, they could fit us in though we needed to be done and dusted in an hour, which was fine, we intended grabbing an entree and pizza to share. If you like the hustle and bustle of a busy cafe (this is not a restaurant in my book) then great, lots of staff running around like headless chickens.

But if you prefer a relaxed, more sedate dining experience, avoid at all costs! The service was fine, though wihin 20 minutes, we felt pressured to eat up and be gone, the waitress 'hovered' constantly like a bird of prey to the point of annoyance. We were outside which was fairly manic, though going inside to settle the bill all hell was breaking loose with cutlery being dropped left right and centre!

The food? Ok, nothing amazingly flash to be frank. I'd give it another go, perhaps, for lunch on a nice day though wouldn't rush back in a hurry.

Had a Maranello pizza, a spaghetti bolognaise and garlic bread between 2 adults and 1 little kid for weekend lunch. It was plenty. Pizza was tasty, pasta was good but sauce a little bit on the tart side. My kid must have enjoyed it, he ate 2 cereal bowlfuls of the pasta.

Food was good, was glad when the staff changed the music to some latin stuff. I'm not keen on pop music during my meals.

My first time visit to this restaurant was very pleasant. My friends and I were unaware of how massive the serving sizes are! In hindsight, we could have ordered one chicken schnitzel and easily shared it between three people with hungry appetites!

The food was very tasty and the service was excellent. I would go back here again.

Went to Vicini on Saturday night after hearing lots about the place and it didn't disappoint. We are from Surry Hills and have been heading to the Inner West lately and will certainly be back. Arrived about 8pm to a packed restaurant upstairs with the fire place roaring, the restaurant had a great buzz to it. We shared a few starter plates and my favourite was definitely the octopus. I had the lamb special for a main washed down with a bottle of Chianti, it was all first class, the wine list was great. Would highly recommend!

This restaurant is the worst restaurant I have ever dined in! I do not understand why people were queuing up to dine there. Pizzas are pathetic, serving size is a joke and if they employed waiters who spoke English, they might actually be able to understand your order the first time round instead of having to send it back to the kitchen multiple times!

Not only was the food horrible, but my family and I were unable to eat comfortably due to waiters squishing in as many customers as possible, pushing us right up against the walls! Do not be fooled by the cute little Italian slogan and traditional Italian atmosphere!

We were hesitant coming to a local restaurant in lane cove, which is our local but not know for good food. And the reviews didn't make us want to come either. Despite this, we tried it for dinner on a Sunday.

My partner and I both really enjoyed our meal. The pizzas were fantastic, more napoli style rather than the crispy roman style which I think some people can call 'soggy'.

The ambience is very much like the italian pizzerias, loud and busy. Which is reflective in the service (these guys were not nearly as rude as the ones in italy). Upon reflection, our waitress was quite lovely.

We didn't have an issue with water, we asked for tap water and tap water was delivered. We had no issue with value or the cost of the pizzas. It didn't cost more than what you normally pay in other North Shore italian restaurants.

The most arrogant Italian eatery I have ever come across. Appalled at the service, food and coffee. Everything they did for us was they bent over backwards for, actually quite shocked as to the standard of this greasy place. Don't expect a smile or acknowledgement unless your friends with Don Juan at the door.

Been a Lipari regular for years, whenever they decide to move a few doors down, we have moved to. A great, simple pizzeria nothing to fancy, but good consistent food and service. I dare say that the last pizza I ordered was a margarita and it was a bit undercooked as the cheese wasn't melted properly but other than that have been very happy with this local.

Went to MUMU for a Sunday lunch, were possibly the only customers at the time, which could explain the attentive staff!

Food was amazing, couldn't fault anything. We had the meatballs for an entree, and the steak and roast chicken for mains. Superb! Expensive, but worth every cent.

Hi All, my experience at Dannys was good, I had the calamari fritty and it was very nice, my friend had a chicken risotto and she said it was lovely and tasty. My advice? Form your own opinion!

Went to fusion last week. Was disappointed with the portion size of the risotto (chicken/Mushroom), there was no real taste to it no seasoning what so ever. I found their coffee menu really weird too. Prices don't seem right some are really overpriced. I find it hard to believe how they can get a simple bruschetta wrong, adding haloumi not only increases the price but does not give that earthy tomato taste.

Not a place I would recommend for a nice family dinner.

Gatto Matto in place of the old Qui, itself a pretty nice little place in an odd spot behind the Five Dock library. Thought we would give it a whirl considering we were locals and the mrs has an Italian background. We were not disappointed as it was a very nice meal with the only annoying thing being how quick we were served and I mean overly quick.

Tried the fried olives, arancini and pizza bread for starters. All really good, very enjoyable and tasty, as it was being washed down with one of our own nice bottles from home (love BYO) things were looking very good. Being seated right near the front door had its ups and downs as the cold air rushed in with newcomers but not much can be done about that.

Not facing the kitchen I was not aware that our mains were already up when we had not finished entree, the waiter came and asked if we would like our mains 'soon' and I said sure. At that point was impressed they were asking for them to commence (assuming a wait of 15 minutes or so). He came back immediately, entree plates still there and had the mains, pretty much had no choice to keep them.

Mains were both fantastic though, my pasta with meatballs was outstanding and the wife's fish of the day was excellent as well. We left in just over an hour, half a bottle of wine tucked under the arm and no way we could fit dessert in. If they got the timing right, I would have been inclined to give some 10's. Don't be put off though, this is a seriously good place!

My girl and I wandered into this restaurant for breakfast and were very happy with our meal. I ordered the open omelette, which was rich and full of flavor without being too greasy. She ordered the folded omelette, which she loved as well. The coffee had flavor without being heavy. A great meal at a reasonable price.

Nice little pizza shop located In Beaumont hills, staff are friendly and very helpful. Pizzas are always fresh, tasty and on time. I have never had a bad experience, so would highly recommend to all.

Feel like pasta or pizza for lunch, so we chose Pompel's. I have to say it was a disappointment. We ordered a Divola pizza, the base is not as good as La Disfida at Harberfield in fact no where near it, even Rosso Pomodoro is better than that. The salami topping was not good. We had the prawn pasta, it was average and need more seasoning, frozen prawn and packet spaghetti for $29, sorry nowadays they need to do better.
