Thought we'd try somewhere different before a night at the state theatre.
We shared a bottle of wine and were offered water. We were presented with a 600mL bottle of Mt Franklin for $7.00. This would be fine if it was a high end restaurant, but for a restaurant which appears like a diner it was a bit much.
I had the salmon teriyaki which was over cooked and, therefore, too dry. It was served with rice and a single leaf of bok choy. Although the sauce was good, there was not enough.
The service was superficial. The waitress became bitter after we suggested that we'd not requested bottled water. Will not be returning.

The ramen sets are definitely a great value. The kickapoo drink is our new favorite. The tori miso ramen has a beer-like aftertaste, so I would only recommend it to the brave. The shoyu ramen broth was quite nice. The corn as side dish is the juiciest, sweetest.

Well-executed, authentic Cantonese food. Ambience is lacking, but despite being a 'hole-in-the-wall', they take bookings, and it's advisable to book unless you're going to eat super-early. Service is friendly and value is good.

Set in a great location, but let down by the fact they would not let us sit outside (tables were not plated).
Service started really well and meals started coming out quick. But then without notice our ribs did not come out (had to ask waiter then he told us), then our dessert of red bean and rice balls seemed to take a while.
The dumplings and main chicken stir fry were pretty good and full of flavour. We also got sang choi bow chicken which was ok. Pricey because of its location, but they could really do with some better standard of service to match.

Good ramen, tastes a bit different from other shops. The place is not fancy, with tiny chairs and tables in a cold dining area. The other comment here about the fly that comes to visit at the end of the meal was spot on, like a creepy prophecy!

The food is not bad, but the elephant in the room is these are MSG soup base.
The rice dishes are msg free I believe. Staff is polite and courteous.

We have been here a number of times. Love the food. I am generally not a huge fan of pho, but the crispy skin chicken noodles/tomato rice is tasty as is the spring roll vermicelli. When they first opened they even made the vermicelli for us despite the fact it wasn't on the menu. Overall I would definitely recommend, one of just a few places in Campbelltown worth eating at.

Our family tried Wagamama for the first time. Not overly impressed!.
The food was Ok but our experience was reminiscent of a Food Court with table service. Table service was patchy at best, with meals being delivered for other tables, and drinks took forever to arrive.
The most annoying thing was the delivery of each persons dish one at a time over a space of 5 minutes. I'm not sure about the other Wagamama restaurants, but I'll give this one a miss. Plenty of places where we can spend our money!

I've been here umpteen times over the past two years, the latest being last night. I've had no reason to complain about the service. That being said, it is always better to go here with a smaller group (2-4 ppl), rather than a larger group of five or more people.

Taken there by an indonesian friend we knew we were onto a winner as the place was full.
Food: we ordered noodle chicken and Pork dishes and the taste was great, they gave us complimentary Prawn Crackers and Sweat Jam, the Pork Ball was excellent as well.
Small floor space and tables are close to each other. The service was quick and efficient and when 1 of the kids jammed their foot in the chair they showed concern and brought bandages.
Value: unbelievable 1990s prices, mains at $8.50, we paid $73 for 9 people!

This has to be one of my favourite places for a good, cheap feed on the go. The self service aspect and crammed tables isn't for everyone but I like the buzzy, informal atmosphere this creates. Not a place for a loungey lunch, romantic date, group outing to be sure but if you want a great value meal in the city you can't go wrong!
In terms of food quality, it's really pretty great, especially for the price. The servings are large and turnover means tempura and other dishes that need to be fresh are continually being made. As for me, I go for the ramen most of the time, hearty, savoury and warming - recommended!

Must try the bakso goreng/ fried ball... its the best in pinangsia noodle!. the rest of the food is average for me (an indonesian), prefer other indonesian restaurant that serve more authentic dishes. The service is good and I always go back for the bakso goreng.

Been here about 3-4 times and it has been great everytime. The noodle is nice, but the tempura is why I come back. Delicious, golden, crispy and is even better when dipped into the soup. Definitely recommend the vegetable tempura! Although the store is abit small and cramp, it does have a Japan-feel to it.

You get what you pay for here. Good quality food fast and reasonably priced.
There are 2 other restaurants in ryde and warringah mall which I regularly visit. I think they're family owned and have been around for about 10 years (warringah mall).
Quite surprised at some of these reviews but at the same time its usually people who complain that are more likely to write reviews.
Anyway, obviously they're doing something right as they've been in business for a long time and have 3 restaurants around Sydney.

Thought I'd try this eat in/takeaway place today for the first time as I'd previously gone to nearby competing Thai eateries, Never Again. It has cooked produce hanging in the windows and has a nice seating area but I went for a take away beef Pad Thai dish and there is no way it was worth the exorbitant $14.20 price tag.
Decent amount of beef in it, but check out the photo, just as much standard onion in it as well! Since when does Pad Thai have white onion in it? The dish was very oily, flavourless and unedible. I couldn't finish eating it, and it had nothing to do with the generous serve. If I am convinced to go there again, I will be trying a non-noodle dish (ironic because they're called Simply Noodles ay?).

Food not great. Service fine until the waiter with the bill came. We questioned him about two incorrect items on the bill, he started saying to us 'you don't need to raise your voice' when we were just speaking to him politely in a normal tone of voice. He had a very bad attitude.
Will never be back.
