Finally a pizza joint of the highest quality on the North Side. As someone mentioned below, Rosso Pomodoro in Balmain was close to if not the best pizza in Sydney, however, after moving back to the north side I've been searching for pizza that compared with little success. But thank god for 3 addictions as this is as good as Rosso Pomodoro.

Traditional italian pizzas with superb thin bases and plenty of flavour without being heavy on the toppings. Good to also see some italians in the kitchen and also waiting tables, which gives the place an authentic and legit feel. I even visited the restaurant for the first time last night after only having delivery previously and thought I'd give the pasta a go for a change, which was superb and as good as the pizza. No corkage and BYO is another huge benefit. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

Went to Sammy's for lunch on a wet sunday at Coogee, very quiet. The quality of the food was excellent, the portions were a little bit smaller than some places on Cleveland St, especially the small serve of tabouli. Prices are much the same as Cleveland St.

I will definitely return to this place, hoping they ditch the tv and stick to music.

Best things here are the service, friendly vibe and tasty food choices, lunch meals are more creative that found at many cafes. Ingredients are very fresh. Quick service, no mix ups. I always have the salmon salad - yum! It's so nice I can't be tempted with anything else. The only negative thing I can say about it is about other customers' kids. Last time I was there, there was a nappy wearing kid sitting on top of a table! Yuk! but not the fault of this great cafe. Oh and it can be hard to snag a seat.

Sad to read these reviews as this cafe should work! My 3 experiences of eating here have all had order mixups, delays or no shows and once I was served an off fruit juice. When I questioned it I was made to feel like there was something wrong with me, not the drink! I do like the coffee here and hope that the service improves and then I will be back (at present I avoid the cafe as there are many other better choices in the area).

We went to this restaurant with friends using a scoupon. For $35 per couple, we got excellent value for money and a reasonable glass of red wine too!

Upon arrival we thought that the place was more of a cafe than a restaurant, however, we were seated and given the menu and were pleasantly surprised by the large choice of dishes. We ordered a mixed entree and various mains. Unfortunately, our entree was delayed by some considerable time after being given to another table by mistake. I am sure that if people from that table ever review this restaurant, they will give the service full marks and glowing praise!

The entrees were very tasty and almost a small meal by themselves. The various mains that we ordered were nicely presented, tasted terrific and the portions were more than adequate. We had naan bread and rice with the main course and were told that if we required more we could have as much as we wanted.

The desserts were also very nice but small and the coffee and hot chocolate was very good.

All in all we had a lovely night, beautiful food, great company and really did not notice the very average surroundings or the delay in getting the entrees.

If you like Pakistani/Indian food and are not too worried about the ambiance or the variable service, this is a great place to go to enjoy authentic Pakistani cuisine.

We would go back again but possibly wait a few weeks until after the new renovations have been completed.

We went with a voucher. The food servings were very little. The bowls used were smaller than usual and only half filled. We ordered a goan prawn masala. There is no prawns in there, only a few little shrimps! We thought both dishes were sauces to compliment the meal.

As the previous review, we felt cheated. This defeated the purpose of their promotion. Definitely Not going back.

My colleagues and I have eaten here several times and actually had no problem with the food here.

The food is quite tasty and definitely not too bad, however, the Lunchtime service which is provided by 2 young women is awful. They spend all their time either sitting behind or near by to the counter playing and text messaging on their own personal phones whilst leaving the shop phone to ring out and leaving customers waiting at the counter for them to finish 'texting'. The tables and floors are very unclean with leftover food and rubbish under them.

The Toilet facilities are below standard and seem unclean and have never been properly cleaned. The toilet bowls are so old and stained they are sickening. Good food, but shame about the service and cleanliness of the place.

Ratings made against my expectations of a pub bistro. In summary, this was a perfectly comfortable hotel dining-room experience for a family dinner out.
Although we don't have high expectations of a simple Saturday night dinner out (we're actually trying to avoid culinary excesses for these simple evenings out) the food was excellent. I'd describe it as hearty, and tasty.

The ambience was comfortable, uncrowded and relatively quiet. Very happy with this venue for a pleasant family dinner out. Rather desperate for an alternative to the Bluegum, which doesn't appeal as much as it used to.

Just walked in here without knowing anything about it. Sat outside on a lovely autumn night, and we're treated to excellent service and excellent food. I often resist getting antipasto because it is usually unsatisfying. The meats on this meat, cheeses and olive platter were varied, tender and delicious.

Apparently sourced from multiple sources, I was very impressed with the quality. The platter was served with cuts of pizza base, and these were an ideal accompaniment. The spaghetti meatballs was simple and excellent and generous. Neither too salty, too oily or too garlicky, the strands were coated with lovely sugo pomodoro. As good as any I had in Italy last year.

There is a bottle shop across the road, and with no corkage applied, we had a wonderful meal at excellent prices. I will definitely frequent this pizzeria, and I hope they do very well.

This was an internet deal. Very slow service, the waitress appeared totally uninterested. The waitress did not remove the wine glasses even though we were not having wine. I had to ask for a soft-drink glass to drink my coke. And the food took a long time to arrive. The Tandoori chicken entree was overcooked, black, and very dry. My partner could not eat it.

The main courses of lamb and beef curries were very ordinary indeed. Not able to order a Mango Lassi as they were out. The only food that was up to par were the plain naans. When it came to pay for the extra naan the waitress could not open the register. Altogether, a very ordinary dining experience. I would not recommend it.

We live right near clover and it's always packed. After trying it twice now we have no idea why. The food is fine- decent but nothing special. Coffee is average at best. but the service is just dismal. It's excruciatingly slow, 15-20 minutes to get a menu put in front of you (both times for us), and expect to wait 45 mins for your breakfast.

On top of this, Clover have forgotten a part of order both times we have been there, despite repeatedly asking for it. The first time we got served vegemite toast (without butter, which was served 15 minutes and 3 requests later when to toast was cold). The second time our juice didn't arrive after 3 requests and we left without. We eat out 3 times a week and I can't ever recall such bad service in Sydney. Clover... we won't be back, and we will discourage the neighbours from coming. Shocking service.

Obviously there is a reason we are packed. People are not stupid- but I am also 100% sure that you're negative review is justified. Finding good, committed staff has been difficult but finally we have a good team on the floor. We do our best to give all of our customers a nice experience to get them through their day but recently due to turnover of staff our service has been hit and miss- and we missed twice with you. I'm sorry. It is our main focus now.

Love this little cafe! The food is always high quality with good ingredients and thus very good value for the price. The long menu satisfies any taste or mood. The serving sizes are ample but not over the top like the gallery down the road. I'm no coffee connoisseur, but I find the coffee to be very good almost every time.

Only drawback is that they have quite a staff turnover, so *occasionally* you get bad service or coffee by a learner.

To anyone with a complaint, don't fear to raise it with the staff or owner (politely of course). They are always very gracious and endeavour to keep customers happy.

We booked this restaurant a week before we went there. We arrived and the whole place was under renovation. The place looked totally disgusting and the senior staff was rude to us. He thought by offering us another booking 2 days later he was being generous but we had already travelled an hour to get there. This restaurant is very dodgy and the service is terrible.

This is a local cafe good for quick coffer or simple brekky. It can get quite busy here as the locals love it here.

Staff here are friendly but bit lazy and not as efficient as they should be. I think they definitely need to train their staff bit more. As an example, "Recolver" is an another local cafe nearby and their service is so much better than here.

Good value, fairly quick service, I go here when I'm after something quick and nice.

What a lovely dining experience Rails. I had the steak with scampi and lobster bisque which melted in my mouth and my partner loved the cheese cake dessert. Definitely quality food at a great price.

We ate there twice now, with friend and family, the best pizza we had on the north shore, save us the trip to balmain for rosso pomodoro or the love supreme in town, great to have a true pizzeria as a local, enopizzeria is ok but not too family friendly, those guys here go the extra miles to please you and the food is fantastic.

My wife and I lived for 15 months in italy and their pizza are as good as the one we had back then. For pizza lover a must try as well as their dessert are scrumptious and on the generous size. The coffee excellent so a great place all around with a byo tag and a bottle shop and cab station across the road! what more do we want? the venice gondola! will be too much to ask.

The coffee here is wonderful as is the food (some good vegetarian options available). Every time I come here I know I won't be disappointed and they open super early during the week so I can grab my caffeine fix and a bite on my way to work. As you can see from it always being busy, by far the best cafe in the area with good friendly service.
