Awesome food, but stupid rules that you can only have certain food out side and certain food only inside and when questioned only explanation is "that's the way it is" (as per duty manager on 30th may 2012 eve).

I was recommended this place by a couple of friends, and from now won't visit any other Lebanese restaurant. I had ordered a mix plate and was worth the $20, with large portions, service was excellent and friendly. I definitely recommend this place to anybody wanting a nice night out.

Good value - Great tasting food, the opening hours are the only thing that disappoint me, if they were open later I would be eating there more often!

I like Seachange for brekkie. The food is always consistent. Love the Cali.
The thing I don't like about Seachange is that the tables are so crammed in that you feel like you are sitting on top of the people around you. You actually have to stand up at times to allow people to get around you. The staff are young generally so sometimes service can be hit and miss but we go back.

Had a Maranello pizza, a spaghetti bolognaise and garlic bread between 2 adults and 1 little kid for weekend lunch. It was plenty. Pizza was tasty, pasta was good but sauce a little bit on the tart side. My kid must have enjoyed it, he ate 2 cereal bowlfuls of the pasta.
Food was good, was glad when the staff changed the music to some latin stuff. I'm not keen on pop music during my meals.

Went to Vicini on Saturday night after hearing lots about the place and it didn't disappoint. We are from Surry Hills and have been heading to the Inner West lately and will certainly be back. Arrived about 8pm to a packed restaurant upstairs with the fire place roaring, the restaurant had a great buzz to it. We shared a few starter plates and my favourite was definitely the octopus. I had the lamb special for a main washed down with a bottle of Chianti, it was all first class, the wine list was great. Would highly recommend!

No entrees eaten but had the swordfish and lamb backstrap. Both were cooked perfectly with decent sizes servings. It was busy but the meals were timed quite well for us. Tables were too small for 4 people (2 were young teens) Owners are friendly with what appears to be a good local following. Better than expected. I shall go again.

Good meals are cooked to specifications. While the service is friendly, it can take a while though, perhaps, that is why it's called 'Laze' n Graze? Bad pun I know. You get free wifi in the meantime. So I recommend this if you have time to kill.

We decided to have a quick meal here before going to the movies and was positively surprised about the food and service we received. I had the lamb shanks and it was the best lamb shanks I have had in a long time. My partner had the black mussels in saffron broth and she loved it too (the broth was so good that we could almost drink it). Definitely will come back soon to try other things on the menu.

What a great find. We used a spreets voucher for a main and a glass of wine each for $25. We had a little trouble locating the restaurant as there was no clear signage but that was understandable considering, it is a pop up restaurant. We were very pleased with the quality of the food and the service. Wouldn't mind coming back here for lunch during the day to enjoy the water views.

Appalled. Will never go back. No matter how friendly the staff were, or how pleasant the surroundings, nothing will make up for highly overpriced bland food.
No kidding they charged $11.50 for 2 eggs, a slice of toast and a slice of tomato. Thats less than $2 worth of food for almost 6 times the cost. My daughters pancakes were super bland with bitter chocolate sauce. She is 8 years and can cook much better pancakes than they can.
On the other hand, the plate of chips were huge and too much for one person to eat, with a price tag to match.
Seriously, don't bother. I can't fathom how they've been in business this long.

We had dinner at the Vintage Cafe on Sunday night, and had a truly memorable experience.
My wife and I were completely overwhelmed with how great the whole experience was, especially the live music. Fantastic singing, guitar and percussionist. Food was truly Delish, especially the paella. Decent wines too and an ambience that was so warm and inviting.
We wish there was more of this kind of thing in Sydney, especially the music, which was a standout. We were close to the musicians, and I was worried they might be too loud, but they were so amazingly good that they knew just the right volume. Real professionals! Mushrooms were outstanding, and the salmon pizza with the signature peri peri was to die for.
Cafes of Sydney take note: this is how you should be doing it. First get a brain, then get great musicians, get good food and you might have a hope of being as fun as this place. We'll be back!

Gatto Matto in place of the old Qui, itself a pretty nice little place in an odd spot behind the Five Dock library. Thought we would give it a whirl considering we were locals and the mrs has an Italian background. We were not disappointed as it was a very nice meal with the only annoying thing being how quick we were served and I mean overly quick.
Tried the fried olives, arancini and pizza bread for starters. All really good, very enjoyable and tasty, as it was being washed down with one of our own nice bottles from home (love BYO) things were looking very good. Being seated right near the front door had its ups and downs as the cold air rushed in with newcomers but not much can be done about that.
Not facing the kitchen I was not aware that our mains were already up when we had not finished entree, the waiter came and asked if we would like our mains 'soon' and I said sure. At that point was impressed they were asking for them to commence (assuming a wait of 15 minutes or so). He came back immediately, entree plates still there and had the mains, pretty much had no choice to keep them.
Mains were both fantastic though, my pasta with meatballs was outstanding and the wife's fish of the day was excellent as well. We left in just over an hour, half a bottle of wine tucked under the arm and no way we could fit dessert in. If they got the timing right, I would have been inclined to give some 10's. Don't be put off though, this is a seriously good place!

We had lunch here using a Living Social voucher and were very impressed with the decor, service and meal options. It was great to see a varied cafe menu with very reasonable prices. Being a local, I'll be sure to stop by in future for economical breakfasts and lunches.
