We went here for my boyfriend's birthday and it was perfect. Exactly what I was hoping for. We went for the 8.15pm sitting as we didn't want to be rushed. The staff were fantastic, not pushy and offered some great tapas (mushrooms, squid and meatballs). We followed this with the chciken skewers. The vibe was dark, sexy and romantic in the resturant. The sangria was great! It would be good though if it came in a jug as opposed to buying it by the glass ($15 per glass).
I would definitely go back again.

A nice little place. A touch popular at present so particularly crowded at the end of the week and can be difficult to find space or hear yourself speak. Friendly service and reasonably priced drinks. Great complimentary bar snacks, roasted almonds. Worth a visit.

Jester Seeds, add a Charlie Chaplin indeed!
Yes! A great addition to this end of Kings st, Newtown. Immediately welcoming with open doors and tastful old school comfy couches complimented by smooth rockin tunes plus great comfy seating niches that wind all the wall to a mini courtyard out back.
Exactly what I was after, my fantastic Aperol Gin Sour took only a few seconds too long but there was only quality in the rounded stylish tumbler complete with a specially sourced maraschino cherry and 1 massive rock (to keep the cocktail cold but not dilute the crafted beverage).
Jester Seeds Aperol Gin Sour (half consumed, yum!). Ray the owner operator was smooth, skilled and helpful the whole way to all guests helping with food and cocktail choices.
A Charlie Chaplin was the next choice from the $10 happy hour specials board (changes weekly), I snuk in another 1 before 7pm as the place started to fill up (tunes subtly adjusted…). My Charlie Chaplin was a great blend of sloe gin, brandy and lime. Served straight up in a coupé glass with kitschy cool trim and saucer attached!
Nuts and special sliders filled me nicely and fit right into the hip pocket…not to fault the delicious pulled lamb chilly sliders x3, but the buns could have been toasted.
‘Oh yeah!’ I exclaimed several times as I smacked my chops and swilled by beverages….
No coffee but a nice pour of cognac to finish up too early. I’ll super try to come back but sooooo many cool small bars to try these days. Love it, loved it!

I have never come across such rude waitresses in my life. I was spoken to rudely and a waitress also rolled her eyes after I said I wasn't ready to order and never came back to the table. However, the lil burgers were great. Despite that, I will not be returning.

Went Saturday with friends for my birthday. The design is stylish and inviting which seemed to suit the diverse crowd. Lots of tasty tapas arrived hot and fast (prawns wrapped in jamon and paella sensational). We all had a great night so a big thanks to all!

Arrived at 6pm on a Tuesday, and the beer I wanted was out, the wine I wanted was out, the food I ordered never arrived and the ex-sewing machine table was uncomfortable to sit at so it's difficult to recommend this place.
The place does looks nice and it's was busy so I'd like to try it once more, maybe for cocktails and a booth.

One of the best places to eat in Crows Nest. Fantastic food and delightful service every time. Cosy atmosphere, a real gem indeed.

After much anticipation to find out what the fuss was about, I brought along my friends to enjoy the evening. I am utterly disappointed.
I had booked a reservation the waitress couldn't find, so we were walked past all the empty booths and tables to the very end, right next to a large table with many people celebrating. As we sat down, I was admiring the interior when the waitress patronisingly asked if there was a problem. Shocked, I replied "no."
We were not given enough menus for the table, so we asked the same waitress for an extra menu. She takes one from the table next to us and, literally, Threw it at us and walked away. She came around again to take our drink order. One of us was not drinking and she stood there for about 10 seconds while giving the non-drinker the most condescending look before moving on to clean tables.
We complained about her to the other waitstaff and they desperately tried to compensate for the appalling attitude and service. However, the damage was done.
The curly fries were warm, soggy and too salty.
I will definitely not be returning to Stitch and I would not recommend it to friends.

Dear Boho, you're a great new addition to the neighbourhood Bondi Rd strip. You're a lovely little bistro with a great look, good food and good prices. It should be a winning formula.
However, please get some staff who actually care about your diners and know the menu/wine list. Sort out your menu so that the listed items are in fact available, you can't have a good half simply not, including the wines (there's nothing wrong with a daily printed menu of what is available) and put up some velvet curtains or something to keep out the cold and the harsh street lighting outside.
I really like you and want you to stay but I'm afraid you'll be gone soon if you don't pick your socks up. There's too much competition to be getting these basic things wrong. There's just a few things to fix and then I'm sure you'd be as popular as somewhere else etc opposite you.

We have tried most of the share plates they are always good. Buy from attached bottle shop as the price by the glass is obscene. The ambience/price targets a specific market, if you are just looking for a drink... the pub is across the road.

Me and my partner booked an early dinner and received a glass of complimentary champaign each was nice. For appetisers we ordered the pierogi with organic pork and roasted shallots and the fried cauliflower. They were both nice but I thought the cauliflower was quite unique. We were quite full at that point so only order one main which we decided to be the chicken breast with potato dumplings. I thought it was quite average though the chicken was very tender.
The dessert had to be the best part as we ordered the choclate ganache and walnut souffle. The souffle was nice but a little eggy but the ganache was absolutely Delicious complimented with icecream and tuile!
However, after a lovely evening when we received the bill we realised they had charged us $9 for a tiny bottle of still water that didn't even last us until main. I thought water would be free but it was even more expensive then some of the alcohol which I thought was a massive rip off.
I would come back again for the desserts but I definitely won't be taking any more water!

We went there for a dinner before going onto our movie. Food came out quickly and staff were attentive and helpful and tapas are delicious. However, the drinks selection could be improved.
Ambience is quite nice. Restaurant feels cosy but in a nice way. It is a great little gem in crows nest. We discovered it on the way home and glad we did.

The tapas style menu was delicious. We were recommended the cauliflower, pierogi and cevapi, all fantastic even though one of us doesn't traditionally eat cauliflower! But he'll eat it if it's deep fried! We had the lamb main, heaps of lamb, super succulent!
We had the apple pie cocktail - Yummy! The ambience is like a dining room. The waitstaff look cute in bow ties! The bathrooms are lovely!
The service was exceptional. They always had a smile on their face, v attentive and enthusiastic. They took the time to go through the menu and make recommendations!
Great value for money. Would definitely come again. They've got 60 flavours of vodka too! Bottoms up!

It is a shame that this place did not work out for us, as I had heard so many fabulous reviews about it. I am vegetarian so possible just didn't order the right things. Had the agedashi tofu for a starter and that was beautiful but it went down hill from there.
Sushi didn't even come with wasabi which is not good for an overpriced Japanese restaurant, my fancy sounding tofu dish that I ordered as a main literally came out as just tofu and lettuce leaves. Our mains were forgotten about and after waiting for over an hour I kindly asked the nervous waiter where our food was to which he went off to the kitchen and didn't return!
I flagged him down again 10 minutes later to get a follow up as we were clearly being ignored and he told me that the printer had broken that day and then left again! Seriously, I don't care if mistakes are made, we are all human but you need to communicate with customers properly and, perhaps, compensate... the free edamame beans didn't cut it! Sorry to say, but we won't be returning.

A prime location, great ambience and funky stylish timber decor. The waitstaff are not friendly and food is nice but damn overpriced. Walk in and feel the pretentiousness and sure enough you won't want to walk in again.

This is a great place for a quick drink before dinner. The staff are always fun and attentive and give that little bit more to make sure you feel relaxed and content. In summer, watching the sun set on the terrace out the back is the place to be. In winter, snuggle up with a bottle of red in the lounge.

We love the Corridor! Rustic interior, love the fairy lights, lovely friendly, happy staff. We usually go upstairs, preferably in the garden outside, but the inside upstairs is nice too. One of the things I like about this place is that people are there to sit and chat...it's mellow, happy..not rowdy. Love it!

Had lunch here the other day, also on a travel zoo voucher, just loved it, great food and very good service. The duck egg with asparagus was a standout, the egg yolk flavour was sublime and the chargrilled asparagus was perfect with it, lovely to dip the spears into the yolk. Also had the smoked chicken croquettes which were lovely and the soft shell crab past muster also.
The leatherjackets fillets were cooked beautifully and the flavours of the white bean and pea gave the dish a lovely delicate flavour, also had a pumpkin gnocchi which was good but the mushroom puree that came with the dish was the standout flavour wise of this dish. The eton mess which had fresh fig in it was the perfect way to finish [along with a nice cheese plate], even the wine that came with the voucher was a very nice sav blanc.
Will very happily return to Graze again, excellent food, good service and just a very pleasant experience overall.
