Ate downstairs in the almost empty restaurant section, which meant we could talk easily, but also meant that service was dependent on when someone came down from upstairs. Our plates of food were a bit hit and miss, the mixed char-grilled sausages was tasty and enjoyed, but the potato salad that came with the swiss schnitzel was mushy and half was left. With an Entertainment book voucher, it's good value, but without, too expensive.

Please note that Italian Village, Waterfront and Wolfies are owned by the same group. We booked for Italian Village through Dimmi, but were seated at Waterfront. Ok, that's fine, but knowing that they could not provide a table that was requested (We were just given any table, not the Reserved one), that is just Poor Customer and Booking service.
Ok, maybe because my name is too exotic, so they could not find me on the list? She had that "I don't understand what you were saying" look. Bad! Overpriced, not so spectacular.

Went Saturday with friends for my birthday. The design is stylish and inviting which seemed to suit the diverse crowd. Lots of tasty tapas arrived hot and fast (prawns wrapped in jamon and paella sensational). We all had a great night so a big thanks to all!

I have been to Lynn's Shanghai a couple of times. Both times have been very enjoyable and the service was almost excellent. The owner, Teresa, came over on both my dining days and checked whether we were okay. As previous reviews have mentioned, the waiter/esses were a bit off the ball. We had to point to the teapot for it to be refilled despite it sitting there when food was brought round or when they walked by. It seems there was a bit of selective sight.
Overall we enjoyed the meals especially the sesame pockets, filled with chicken. We found the Beijing strips with pancakes rather oily. I would return to this place.

Food was good. We had the amitriciana, napoletana and prosciutto pastas and soft drinks. Waiter got the prosciutto mixed up with puttanesca but he apologised when the mistake was pointed out. In a few minutes the correct dish was brought out. They welcome children but it's better if your kid can sit up unaided as I don't recall seeing any highchairs.
Wish I tried the coffee, after reading other people's comments!

Very disappointing experience. The service was friendly, but the waitress was rushed off her feet. Food not of high quality, tea weak. Will not return.

Arrived at 6pm on a Tuesday, and the beer I wanted was out, the wine I wanted was out, the food I ordered never arrived and the ex-sewing machine table was uncomfortable to sit at so it's difficult to recommend this place.
The place does looks nice and it's was busy so I'd like to try it once more, maybe for cocktails and a booth.

Booked in for a mid-week meal for a special occasion. We were the only couple in the entire restaurant, so felt a little awkward. The waiter we had was absolutely professional. Pity about his colleague who kept pacing the restaurant with obviously nothing to do. Food, however, was delicious (duck entree was nice) and worth the slight awkwardness. Furnishings were impressive. Worth trying, it has promise.

It has been around for a long time and I hadn't been there for over a year. No change in many years, somehow it maintains an old world feeling without getting tatty. Service was good, staff friendly and have a sense of humour. Always has been a testosterone filled room (this time there was a total of 3 ladies lunching in the room, may be a record)
The food is very good. Three steaks and one serve of crumbed lamb cutlets cooked exactly as requested. It is a safe bet for a relatively informal business lunch. A little noisy and the tables a bit too close together for any serious business to be conducted.

Pretty average yum cha, no better or worse than others in the city. Dumplings are good, the usual roast pork and duck and chickens feet, all the usual fare done in the usual way. Best for those who favour seafood. The restaurant is a reasonable size for al a carte, but maybe not for yum cha in the city. The wait for a table at lunchtime mid-week can be longer than most. Try arriving a bit before the hour for best chance of reduced waiting times.

After much anticipation to find out what the fuss was about, I brought along my friends to enjoy the evening. I am utterly disappointed.
I had booked a reservation the waitress couldn't find, so we were walked past all the empty booths and tables to the very end, right next to a large table with many people celebrating. As we sat down, I was admiring the interior when the waitress patronisingly asked if there was a problem. Shocked, I replied "no."
We were not given enough menus for the table, so we asked the same waitress for an extra menu. She takes one from the table next to us and, literally, Threw it at us and walked away. She came around again to take our drink order. One of us was not drinking and she stood there for about 10 seconds while giving the non-drinker the most condescending look before moving on to clean tables.
We complained about her to the other waitstaff and they desperately tried to compensate for the appalling attitude and service. However, the damage was done.
The curly fries were warm, soggy and too salty.
I will definitely not be returning to Stitch and I would not recommend it to friends.

Was at Baia Friday 25 may, sitting in the elevated seating area. A large group near me was having a special degustation meal with matching wines. Even though our food was lovely the look and presentation of the food coming out for that table was mouth watering. At the end of the dinner the table requested the chef to come out and clapped as he arrived at the table.
My group have never seen or heard of this happening at darling harbor. We definitely want to get a group together to experience the same thing. Baia the Italian we are coming back!

People, Stay Away! Came to dine here with my partner her sister and her boyfriend as they are moving to Queensland. My partner bought a Groupon voucher for all-you-can-eat prawns cooked 8 different ways. We're all big lovers of prawns (as I'm sure anyone would be!) so we thought what a perfect way to see them off.
We arrived at Kuaizi, the ambience was quite pleasant and modern looking. The music was a bit too loud for my liking, to the point that the speakers were crackling under the pressure.
Can't really comment on service as it was buffet style, however, when we were greeted, seated, served our complimentary cocktails and given the bill (ordered another round of drinks) it was pleasant so no complaints there. The cocktails were also lovely, and upon asking the waiter answered, politely.
However, I progress onto the food, which is obviously our main reason for dining here! Prawns were So Overcooked due to sitting in these bainmaries for I'd say at least 3 hours that the texture was that of a well-done steak. They were beyond rubbery and dry, I actually firmly believe that they were on the point of turning into nothing! None of the bainmaries were labelled so you really didn't know what you were eating, only that it was prawns!
In saying this, The fresh prawns (a little sceptical as to whether or not they were indeed fresh), were at most 'ok'.
The desserts were ok too. Teeny tiny half bite sized cuts of cakes which I am certain were bought from a bakery.
The last point I wish to make is that, I am now laying in bed a few hours later feeling ill. I can definitely tell anyone reading this now that the food is beyond edible, you couldn't feed your cat this food.
Value wise, not so great, even with a coupon! I could only eat one plate of these prawns, then had some sort of fried rice (Dried rice seems a bit more of an appropriate name for the dish) and ended with a few tiny cubes of chocolate cake. I wouldn't have paid $10 for my food in total.
Will never come back here. Would've preferred somewhere else over this.

Have been to this restaurant on many occasions with mixed results. The couple we were dining with arrived a few minutes before us, and their pre-dinner drink had just arrived as we got to the table.
The inability to get the attention of someone to allow us to order a drink set the precedence for the evening. Our companions mentioned several times the inability to get service when required, (quote "the staff here are very good at not making eye contact). We had a white and a red wine (not the cheapest restaurant for wines).
The red was "stored" by the staff and I think this is fine, as long as they take responsibility for ensuring the glasses are replenished, since the bottle isn't at the table to allow you to do this yourself. Waiters emerge when they want to sell you something, or you become invisible.
Food was Ok. I think the service and food is better at lunchtimes. I note other reviews mention the oysters as not fresh, however, I found them fine on this occasion.
I ordered the special steak (the carcass got 2nd place at the Easter Show and they "were sure to sell the final cuts of it tonight"). It wasn't as good as I've had there, and I was a little envious of the steaks everyone else ordered. (I don't learn - I've been trick into this before, and am invariably disappointed).
Steaks were well cooked. One comment about the accompanying sauce. At $3.50 each, being a small individual serving of the Bearnaise or Green Peppercorn of about 30 mls - adds $14 to a bill for 4. If you want to really enjoy the view, go for lunch.
I'll certainly be back, probably for a business lunch. I'm less sure about the venue for a social night out.

Hmmm, liked the sandwich a lot. Thick cut rye bread, nice wagyu meat, pickles and russian salad. Was served quickly and very tasty.
Bit of a rabble with the numbering system being yelled out, seating is a lottery depending on the time of day you go and completely agree with the comments about value, it is one helluva expensive sandwich, wanted someone to hand feed it to me for $17!

Must agree with most of the commentary below, this is a good place for a quick bite but do not expect warm service or a blow your mind meal. Given it is always super busy, you are treated quickly and without much attention, enough to get by.
The yum cha is pretty good and if you know what you want and like a bit of variety, it is worth it. Had the rice noodles with prawns, wontons, beans in some sauce (black bean maybe), calamari and steamed dumplings. Enjoyed all of them for what they are, nice clean flavours but minus any wonderful fireworks. Dishes were warm but not overly hot, understandable I guess given the amount they churn out.
The mango pancakes are Fabulous, worth alone a visit! Finish on these and the other sins are completely forgotten. Room is a bit bland, lots of grey and has a frenzied atmosphere but it goes with the yum cha territory.
