The best coffee on the Peninsula. Great menu and service, we absolutely loved our breakfast. It had a great vibe and was very busy. I loved my cornbread topped with avocado, smoked salmon and a delicious mayo. We will be back!

Both my plates were very dirty which was difficult to see initially - make sure you look at the white plates at an angle if you go here. Waitress cleaned my dirty plate with a dishcloth rather than getting me a new one - nice!
We went to the dinner - and I ordered the lamb. The lamb was cooked very well but the taste was horrible. It was on a huge bed of mixed mushrooms and garlic - strong tasting ones like procelini. This simply overpowered the lamb and could have done better with less mushrooms and a few more neutral flavours like beans or mash etc..?
Our starter was Duck pate - although not like any i'd ever tasted before - it was 'oddly' flavored and didn't taste like duck - although there was a lot of it at least.
Partner had the pork dish - which was a good cut of meat. The ambiance is nice - wasn't impressed by the dinner menu or dirty plates.

Lovely little cafe serving yummy food. Service is efficient however, tables are tiny so makes a leisurely brekky reading the papers a challenge.

This is a great little eatery. Coffee is sublime, and the home-made beans on toast with avocado and vinaigrette are positively delicious. Great service too. One of the best in Avalon which has no shortage of great cafes and restaurants.
