It's utilitarian, and the offerings don't change a great deal, but it's consistent and unpretentious. It's not a sushi train pretending to be something else.

We used to dine here frequently but the prices for the sushi have gone up considerably over the past year and it does pale in comparison to the sushi train down the road, which has more variety and better quality sushi. When we actually compared the bills from both places, they are almost the same! My conclusion for their price hike is that they aren't doing so well due to the second sushi train taking away alot of their business, the second sushi place ALWAYS has a queue and it can sometimes take 15-30 minutes waiting to get a seat! What does that say to you??!!

The food, price and value are not as good, very less variety of food, less quantity for high price, and not that memorable.

Good sushi. Good value, a bit tight on the seating but overall ok. Not as much variety as down the road. Good rewards program.

My girlfirend and I are very frequent regulars to the sushi train, we have tried all of the other sushi places in chatswood and sushi train by far is the best and offers the best variety. The ambience is not the best, a bit squishy, however, the food is of high quality and is fresh as can be as you get to watch them as they make the sushi in front of you. Although we can't walk out of there without spending at least $35 the food is well worth it and we will continue to be regulars.

I adore this sushi train. My partner and I go here at least once a week, and compared to the sushi train down the road, which has more gourmet varieties and an enormous line, it is fantastic. The range is good, but they have plenty of accessible sushi varieties (unlike the train down the road where everyone squabbles over the salmon nigiri!). I simply love it, and would take any visitors or friends. Perfect before the movies or after the gym.

I used to work here...(ha-ha) so I know what is good and what is bad. Seating is a bit of problem, need more room to enjoy food. But the food is excellent! They always serve you "Fresh Food". They know how to treat raw fish, the top chefs are checking on the train-rail all the time so everything is fresh all the time!

Great place to have a quick meal. It definitely curbs your sushi craving. Good service and excellent for a quick place to eat, always fresh. I go here up to 5 times a month.

I love the food at sushi train - most of the sushi varieties taste excellent and for good price too. Staff are always quick, friendly and helpful and willing to help if you wish to order a specific dish
