This is a take away sushi predominantly with 4 little tables inside, the food, however, is fresh and for some time was the only place I could eat with my sensitive stomach condition. Deduct points for the location on busy road, below ground level and lacking space.

Service though not important in this setup is worth mentioning, the waitresses are not proficient in english and, typical of Japanese culture, not engaging.

Lovely sushi, I'm boring, I love the smoked salmon and cream cheese (tres oz!), the teriyakis, and the great nigiri selection. Also a fan of the sobas/udons - especially if you're hungry! Perfect for the times you skip breakfast and need something to keep you going through the day.

More of a takeaway place than eat-in (though there are a few tables inside), but excellent sushi rolls. The salmon and avocado rolls are the best and they don't stinge on the filling like some places do). Udon is also ok. I agree that they would be v popular if they were open evenings too.

I am a big sushi fan and the sushi here is delicious. The sushi is always fresh and the staff are always willing to make you another sushi roll if they have run out. I haven't yet tried the noodle soups but I am sure they are very yummy. I agree if the sushi village was open at night it would be even more popular.

I'm sorry to be the first negative reviewer of this place, simply because I wish so much that it tasted good. I live nearby, and I would definitely sink a lot of cash into this place if it weren't for the malodorous rice they use in their sushi rolls. It stinks of cheap vinegar, and is so badly seasoned I had to throw it away.

This sushi place is not only for summer but also for winter because they have hearty Udon noodle soup as well! I'm a big fan of Udon!

This place is only open for lunch which is a pity because I would definitely obtain take-away from here if it was opened at night. Good quality sushi.
