Have never had a bad experience here and have been multiple times. Food is delicious, especially The Spoons (never fails to delight)! Service has always been great so far, esp two weeks ago when our waitress was attentive, warm and friendly, and we've never had to wait too long for our food.

Staff were accommodating when we were late and were happy to allow us pre-dinner drinks at Hemmesphere first. The Raspberry Creme dessert is an added bonus for all diners!

Food was very ordinary. I am a sushi lover and this sushi was nothing special and actually pretty bad. The rice was slightly hard and the freshness of the ginger (which is always a good indicator and the quality of a sushi restaurant) was terrible. It tasted old and close to being turned. My daughter order the miso glazed chicken appetizer and it was dry and looked as though it was cooked earlier today and just left under a warmer.

The whole meal was a huge disappointment and considering the prices I feel as though it was a total waste of money. I would not go back and I would not recommend it to anyone either. There are much better places around.

I love Sushi-e! Yes, it is pricey but some of the dishes are outstanding! The fried dishes are good but they do not compare in looks and flavours with dishes such as the kingfish sashimi, the spicy scallops, the miso cod, the spider (soft shell crab) salad or the wagyu beef marble 9! You might think $70 is expensive for a small steak but it is out of this world! I have never tried anything quite like it, it melts in your mouth and the flavour is exquisite. The ingredients used are of prime quality, the presentation is manicured and the flavours are incredibly delicate and well-balanced.

Having had a great experience here a couple of years ago I returned and was disappointed. The service really let it down. Our waitress was inattentive, uninterested and scoffed (laughed and rolled her eyes!) that we'd ordered too much food. The 6 oysters we ordered arrived as 12 and we were made to feel it was our fault. Then one of our dishes was forgotten. It was hard to get drinks (you can't order them with the sushi staff even if your waitress has gone MIA). What was meant to be a special dinner followed by drinks at Hemisphere was simply an experience that left a bad taste in my mouth so we didn't bother sticking around for drinks.

The service was laughably bad. They forgot our order or lost it. It was very busy so they left us waiting for about 45 minutes before they even realised. The staff were rude and dismissive. We made the mistake of sitting at a table (mm..table? more like something you would find at a kindy, with chairs...no, not chairs...more like foot rests).

It was very expensive and what we got for our money was so tiny, well a mouthful of food, I can't really judge if it was any good or not. So all around a terrible experience. I'm surprised they didn't kick us on the way out.

This place is truly amazing. The sushi is sensational. Right from the time you walk in until you leave, the service is incredible. The food is just great. I lived in Japan for 4 years and this is a true Japanese taste, not authentic Japanese, more modern Japanese but sensational. The only thing is I wish the Sake menu was a little bigger but the sake on the menu was great. Please get some better hot sake than go-shu.

Amazing and my most favourite place to dine in Sydney. The food is the best and freshest with flavours that just explode in your mouth leaving you wanting more and more.

Salmon belly nigiri, flammed scampi, the scallop sashimi, spider rolls or even a piece of wagyu 9 score steak. The guys do such a good job and it's all prepared right in front of you.

I love sushi e and with hemmesphere right next door, you can spend an entire evening on level 4 with your loved one or friends and I love that!

Delicious dinner at Sushi-E on the weekend. It was my first time there, and it was the perfect dining experience. It's a small intimate restaurant, great for dining with another person but perhaps not as a group experience due to the layout. Most the tables surround the chefs who are working their magic, with only 3 or 4 tables by the window. The food was beautiful and fresh. Standout dishes I highly recommend were: tasting spoons, scallops, soft shell crab & mango and the green tea cheesecake was lovely to finish off the delicious meal. The only dish I wasn't a big fan of was the balmain bug sushi. All staff - from door host, to waitress and chefs - were fantastic. Attentive, warm and friendly! The total bill for two people came to just $185 - we had so much food we were bursting at the seams, and 2 cocktails. I agree with the reviewer below the drinks are pretty pricey at about $20ish per cocktail, but no complaints at all for the pricing of the food. It was worth every cent, and I can't wait to return.
