Every visit to Summer Salt never leaves me disappointed! The food is delectable, the service is impeccable and the views are breath-taking. The only setback is pricing, otherwise, I'd be there every week.

My partner and I went here for a mid week dinner before the finish of day light savings and loved every minute of it. It is clearly the best restaurant in the sutherland shire. While it is not the type of restaurant that you would casually wonder down to for a fri/sat night dinner, for a special occasion or as a treat it was fantastic.

The staff were extremely helpful, polite and professional while not interrupting conversation or your meals. The food was beautiful from both entree to dessert. The banana fritters are to die for! You could really taste the quality of the ingredients. Stick to their seafood options as I really think they have lifted the bar for the area.

It was a fantastic night out, will come a bit early next time to enjoy a cocktail in their bar area, as I could not fit it in after our meals. All this and I haven't even mentioned the view yet!

Have been dining here for years. Always a treat, but a little disappointed with last visit. Service used to be really good but had to wait for drinks and wasn't asked if we wanted any more drinks, would have had another 2 glasses of wine if we had been asked. Food is still good, a little too many sauces but still good. Will still be back.

Been here a couple of times now, I think the food is average for the price the chef tries a bit too hard, sashimi plate with no chopsticks and wasabi and incredibly small for $22, salt and pepper squid overcooked. Chips bit soggy and not crisp, souffle for dessert looked great but tasted bland, also the room can tend to get very noisy. The room actually reminds me of a leagues club rather than a beach side restaurant.

I live locally and have been to Summersalt quite a few times. We went there on Sunday and it was by far the worst visit yet. Yes the view is great, and the food is good, but the service was shocking! A particular waitress took a dislike to me because I wasn't ready to order yet. She sighed and was most unimpressed and made the table feel very rushed to place their orders, when what we wanted was a leisurely long lunch.

She had quite an attitude and a number of people on our table were unimpressed. We even noticed her whispering about our table to another waitress and pointing at us and rolling her eyes. Then every time she came to fill up everyone's wine or water she deliberately didn't fill up my glass! She made me so uncomfortable and completely ruined the experience. They charge far too much for that kind of unprofessionalism. I won't be back in a hurry.

I have enjoyed this restaurant on many occasions. The service is always commendable, friendly and engaging. The food is top quality and well presented. It is a little pricey but the location, presentation, food and embience carry it through. I definitely recommend.

My husband and I went there for lunch during the week and had the 3 course set menu. I thought the entree of calamari was sensational, however, my husband thought there were too many flavours. My main was bland and boring (battered fish with chilli jam). My husband had the chicken with proscuitto and thought it was lovely.

Dessert was the chocolate fondant, whilst enjoyable, it is exactly like the Bill Granger dessert I do at home and my husband thought mine tasted better! His brulee was delicious. The staff are overly attentive to the point of feeling intrusive and you feel like you have to watch what you say because they are hovering too much. I know that they are used to weddings, so we thought that, perhaps, they were in "wedding efficiency mode".

This made us feel like we couldn't relax and enjoy ourselves. The staff were efficient but perfunctory and didn't introduce themselves or discuss the menu in any way with us, eat and get out! The view is divine and the restaurant location is beautiful. Overall, I don't think I would go there again as we just didn't relax and feel comfortable and the food whilst lovely, was not exceptional.

Wonderful service, good food, value, spectacular views and no problems parking. As there are no other restaurants in the immediate area (Eloura) parking is a dream compared to Cronulla. That alone will encourage our return. Hope it's just as good next week.

We have eaten at Summer Salt a few times, and enjoy have generally walked away feeling really good after the experience. I personally enjoy the profusion of Asian influenced flavours. Perhaps, these do influence just a few too many dishes, and I think sometimes there are a few too many flavours in the one dish, but the food generally is very good. The location is fantastic being right on the beach, so always nice to go for a bit of a walk afterwards during summer.
