Our new resort-style restaurant looks and feels like no other! The feeling is casual but smart and elegant. It really is the perfect spot to catch up with friends for a relaxed lunch or dinner or just a well-deserved break with a coffee and delicious dessert.

The perfect main course to have if you plan to visit Summer House is the “Pan-fried Salmon".

This dish is marvelous! Salmon fillet served with a mustard and lemon dressing with kipfler potatoes and a choice of either seasonal vegetables or a garden salad.

Experience our great new dessert – Chocolate Lava Cake! This dessert Sensation has it all! Moist chocolate pudding served with ice cream, rich chocolate sauce and a dash of double cream.

Came to Summer House during their weekday $28 for 3 course special. We were not disappointed! Very worthwhile to try this. Not a huge selection of food (3 choices each for entree, main and dessert) but the food was really nice, hubby going for the rump while I had the chicken. What I like about the restaurants here in Fairfield RSL is the decor tends to be a talking point for some reason. The Summer House is a beautifully decorated room with great ambience. Definitely coming back for this special again.

We had the mid week special $28 for 3 courses. We ordered the salt and pepper squid, cherry tomato and ricotta bruschetta for entree, angus rumps for mains,fruit salad and creme brulee for desserts.

We really enjoyed the salt and pepper squid. It was really fresh (not chewy) and tasty. However the bruschetta was ok. It was quite plain, and we'd rather much prefer the traditional bruschetta (but we generally prefer flavoursome dishes).

Both the rumps were ordered to be medium cooked. One came out quite well done which didnt make it as enjoyable as it was dry on the outer edges. The other steak came out perfectly cooked and definitely much more tender.

The desserts were definitely a hit with us! Creme brulee and fruit salads were both what we expected, although quite a large serving and very filling. The service was fantastic, and attentive. They were really welcoming and friendly.

All in all, its definitely good value. I'd definitely like to come back here and try other dishes.

I was really surprised to find this place in the middle of Fairfield (of all places)! The meals were great, relaxing / chic atmosphere, excellent service and value. Went with work people and we all got the 3 course meal for $28!
Really nice salt and pepper squid, the steak was cooked well with my favourite vegies (asparagus, baby carrot, kifler potatoes and green beans!) and a big serving of creme brulee! Will definitely go back and try the other restaurants!

The fitout for this place is so nice! Makes you feel as if you're at a resort, so much attention to detail. Don't forget to look at the fans! haha

The menu was very mixed. I didn't like it because it would've been nicer to be able to choose from a large range of 1 cuisine (rather than have 1 chinese option, 1 seafood option, 1 australian option etc). Service was very pleasant. Glasses were always being topped up without being asked.

But something strange, they tried to take my plate away whilst I was still holding knife, fork and chewing. (The rest of my table was done though).

Went here to finish off our anniversary dinner and the desserts were really good. We had the cheese platter and chocolate cake, and it was delicious. Would love to come by again!

Service was fantastic. Even though it was nearly closing time (we didn't actually know this, or we wouldn't have ordered and let them close up) the waitresses and manager were fantastic and gave us their recommendations on which dishes to choose.

Food came out quickly and everyone was so friendly whilst serving us. Left a tip of $10, and definitely will be back again.

Went there last night with a group of girls and from the moment we stepped into the restaurant the service was impeccable. Patrick was fantastic. The overall restaurant looked swish yet the prices for the food were not overpriced. Mains was spot on, my creme brulee was not great but someone elses pannacotta was divine. Will be going to again.

This is such a beautiful restaurant, the decor is amazing. The food was lovely and the kids meals are huge, great value. The service is fantastic, very attentive and genuine, it had been 4 months since our first visit and our waiter remembered us. Wow!

So fancy a fine dining with reasonable price and classy ambience? You will be pleased at yourself for taking a time out for a nice and satisfying dinner at Summer house in Fairfield RSL.

At Summer House the Service is great, food is delightful and the restaurant is funky and at the same time classy, you would forget you are in RSL after all. I had lamb cutlets and tried the salmon so I like to recommend these to you and experience your meal yourself and let me know what you think because I personally love every bite of my meal. Bon
