Went here for my birthday a couple of years ago and had a truly great experience.
The only weird thing was that the restaurant wasn't closed off from the casino area but other than that factor, the ambience, service and food was great.

We went for a 3-course meal for under $30 and the sizes were very generous. My salt and pepper squid was not greasy and moreish. The crumbed chicken main was yummy and the dessert of three sorbets was nicely presented if a bit excessive in size (and we had a cake too, so I guess that's why!).

Would recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a great meal in a nice, modern setting.

The restaurant itself is an amazing experience, service was great - young, happy and easy going staff. The dining experience as a whole is very enjoyable.

The mains were 'okay' I purchased the Spicy Meatballs and my partner ordered the fish and chips with homemade tartare sauce.

The Meatballs were average, nothing by comparison to something like Criniti's, the sauce was very good though.

The fish and chips were not great either, the fish pieces were quite small and the Tartare sauce wasn't as tangy as you would normally expect. The desserts... what can I say. Without a doubt the desserts are the show stopper from the Summer House. I can truthfully say these desserts will match any place you can find.

I ordered the Chocolate Fondant and my partner, the Sticky Date Pudding. Both desserts come presented beautifully, yet simple. If you're a chocolate lover the Fondant is incredible, I didn't get to try my partners Sticky date pudding as I was too concerned of losing the amazing flavour I already had in my mouth from the chocolate.

I wish the mains were just a little better and I would be visiting this restaurant on a weekly basis.

Probably my shortest review ever. You simply have to go there and see for yourself. The whole club is extraordinary. But the Summer House. Wow. The most common comment is "I never knew any club had a restaurant like this". This classes above what you'd expect. The Chef de Menu is a class act and well known. If you don't go, you are missing something.

Dined here on a Sunday night after seeing this restaurant pop up on eatability quite often and it did not disappoint. The food was of high quality, tasted fresh and cooked well. I'd highly recommend the garlic prawns, spaghetti and creme brulee. Also, serving size was very generous. I was surprised that the wine selection was quite good. To top it off, the decor and atmosphere was very relaxing and modern and service was attentive.

Dropped into Fairfield RSL the other day and was surprised to see there were a few choices for dining. We chose Summer House and were glad we did. My mushroom tart was good. Hubby and a friend said their tuna salad starter and pie and mash and fish and chips were good too.

Service was friendly and prices are very reasonable, they have a set mid week menu for $33 per person, and it's well worth it. It was an enjoyable lunch for all of us.

This place has great service, big portions, value for money and the atmosphere is lovely. The menu is quite simple rsl food, nothing too extravagant buts it's good enough. We has the mid week special, 3 courses for $33 pp. very filling!

Mid Saturday Afternoon Lunch with family. Service very good and friendly. Lunch special excellent value. Ordered Garlic Prawns as entree as well which were great. Main course again great. Wine selection good. Catered for children. Dessert and coffee topped off a great lunch. Would highly recommended. Enjoy.

The place looks nice (you walk past a dreary site of gamblers, though) and the service inside the restaurant is nice, too. However, the food was a let down.

We were a party of two and had: bruschetta (rock hard bread) and squid (soft squid and weird sauce) for entrees, prawns tossed in pasta (it was sour because there was too much lemon - couldn't finish it) and a rump (dry and chewy) for mains, and creme brulee (yummy!) and gelato (I think) for dessert.

The food just wasn't good enough, I just have to be honest here. I would not go back and I left wondering how they got it wrong.
