What can one say that hasn't already been said. Wandered in here after a rainy and wet Jets match down the road at Henson Park. Took our seats in the courtyard and enjoyed an hour a half of succulent tender meat along with flavoursome to die for dips. Sensational.
Admittedly I only had the dips and they were good but a warning to all, you probably need to book to get a seat, went here twice on a tuesday and it was booked out! The review will be updated when I try more later in the future.
Outstanding food. Very busy and somewhat noisy restaurant, but the prices are excellent. The waiters, while busy, are obliging. Our party of 10 was very happy with the meal and the value for money.
What a great place! the food is fantastic and the place buzzes with activity. Their service was a bit distracted, but when you see how busy they are it was OK. Been a couple of times and never disappointed. You need to book.
Yum! Nice turkish food. Although I prefer takeaway as the seating area is always packed and reallllly noisy! (As it rightfully should be) nice fresh pides, nice falafel rolls and good value! Try the baklavas! Yum!
Have been going here for quite some time now and have always found the food to be exceptionally well-prepared, fresh and tasty. It's a great place for a late weekend lunch as they serve all day, it can sometimes be quite busy if you choose to eat during 'accepted' lunch hours and if you want to dine here on the weekends, make sure you book because the place is packed and quite rightly so!
Best little Turkish joint in Sydney. Been there loads. Fresh, healthy and brilliant food. Pides and fallafel are the best. Great little outside area which is great on weekends. You even get motel style cutlery wrapped in a paper bag! Go now!
Wanting to try this place for some time, my partner and I came here on a saturday evening, bought a bottle of wine from the local bottlo. Walked in, expecting a table without a problem, sadly to be told that they were full. We walked out, contemplating where else to go. Then, one of the staff came out, rescued us and said he would find a table for us! Very surprised, we followed him, to find 2 small vacant tables in the courtyard out back.
Very happy to be now seated, we perused the menu. Quickly we noticed how crowded and loud this place was, due to many people enjoying there meals with friends. If you expect quiet fine dining, this is not the place for you, but I liked it, there was a bustling happy vibe about the place. Upon ordering, our rescuing waiter advised that the dishes we ordered would have a significant delay due to how busy the kitchen was. He recommended some starters, and even gave us a small complimentary dip.
The food was great, and the Lamb Shish kebab worth waiting for. We had more food than we could eat for under $40, plus no corkage was charged! Suitably impressed, we tipped our waiter, and will definitely be back.
Had lunch here with friends yesterday, very relaxing out in the courtyard. The service was attentive and fast considering how busy it was, and the food. The dips and bread are so fresh and tasty, the pides and kebabs were great (large servings). The bill worked out under $20 each! great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
I ate here this afternoon on a whim, found the place to be great value for money. We tried two dishes that aren't usually part of your standard Turkish take away menu (Icli Kofte, Iskendar Kebab) and surprisingly they were served up quite thoughtfully and relatively quick considering how busy the place was. We sat in the courtyard which can feel a little cramped and uneven when full but is nice.
The service is was great, staff were attentive without being over zealous. Ended up costing me $31 all up with two soft drinks, but I can tell you that my dining partner and myself were stuffed afterwards. I'll be trying this place again in the near future!
