My wife and I had a great evening out here. The food was was really good although the portions may be a little small for some. The service was exceptional and the staff were warm, welcoming and friendly. The place had a great buzz about it and the rustic ambience added to the feel of homely European cafe. Ample parking in the immediate area but book for Friday nights.

Strange name but a really good dining experience. I went a couple of months ago so can't remember the dishes. I had the pork belly which was fantastic and I remember the desserts being quite good also! The restaurant is quite small and seats about 25 people inside, there is also an outdoor area which I didn't see.

Has a nice ambience, service was great but the place is dead before 8.30pm so don't book too early. Overall a great restaurant and well worth a try!

After reading reviews I had high expectations when we visted on the weekend. Quality of food could not be faulted but question the size of the serves - $9.50 for a very small serving of scrambled eggs on toast. Perhaps should have followed recomendations for poached eggs. That's aside, enjoyed the experience, service was great and coffee was good.

This place is almost perfect. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere is gorgeous - very romantic and cosy and the food was delicious. The food is your typical modern Australian fare of excellent quality but with a little added twist to make it extra special. Don't go past the desserts!

This is a really good local restaurant. The food is good and it has a nice cosy atmosphere with candles at the tables. They have interesting specials and very good cheese (which is rare at a small place like this). Overall a plesant evening without breaking the bank.

I went here for dessert and coffee one friday evening. The room was warm, dim lighting, great chilled music and the food was superb. The service was so pleasant and coffee of a high standard. I am excited about returning for a whole evening. Prices fit the quality of the restaurant and service.

Strangers With Candy is a fabulous little restaurant with consistently great service and excellent food. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and it is great value for the quality of the dishes. It's also BYO and the desserts are fabulous. Each visit has been a satisfying experience. They do a sensational breakfast on the weekend - the perfect place to spend a lazy Sunday. Just make sure to book as it is popular.

This place is certainly worth the hype. The poached eggs are great here, cooked to perfection. They are also generous with their portions of smoked salmon which is good as they are equally generous with their hollandaise sauce as well. The salmon bruschetta was also brilliant. The eggplant caviar and horseradish cream were very nice touches to the dish. Coffee is also quite good here. To top it all off, they have genial staff to greet you as soon as you walk into this tastefully decorated establishment. Prices are a little more than other cafes but the overall experience by far exceeds most other cafes. Note: brekky is only available on weekends.
