Very expensive restaurant. Food arrived very late and sheek kebabs were just warm. I can say they were not freshly cooked. Samosa's were really yummy. Service is attentive but how wait staff can serve if they are not getting the food on time. It seems as if they want people to sit in their restaurant and don't care when the food is being served. Sultan Lounge is my favourite. Its beautifully been decorated. Would love to hang around this place. May be just for a cup of coffee and nothing else.

Food arrived quickly but service was poor. We had to pay extra to take home our leftovers and we had to pack it ourselves.

Visited 06/05/11. Service was totally non-existent. Firstly, on entering (us 3 people) , there was nobody to welcome or guide to a table. The staff seemed just not interested. Had to wait about 5-7 minutes at reception before somebody noticed us & guided us to a table. Further, after the order was given & delivered, there was no follow-up service. For any repeat order of nan bread or something, we literally had to do wait & do a lot of effort to get attention. One occasion, a repeat order was given for nan breads & the waitress perhaps forget to convey to kitchen & we kept on waiting & food got cold till they arrived on our reminder. Food quality was average. Butter Chicken & Shahi Paneer were good, but the helping size of Shahi Paneer was inadequate. Dum Aloo was a let down. The menu said it was Potato with nuts, but there were no nuts only potatoes & onions in a red thin sauce.

I waited for over an hour for 4 masala dosas to be served on this sat night. The dosa was salty and hard and potato was burnt. An absolute no no for south indian dishes! No value for money or time.

Went for birthday party last tuesday. Ordered tandoori platter for entree, naans, goat currie and biryani for mains.

Service was ok. Waiters were friendly. Food was pedestrian, especially tandoori platter. Half of the stuff was still half cooked and we could tell it was out of freezer. Biryani was mediocre, not the real dum biryani probably microwaved out of freezer. Naans were the only saving grace, they were fine. Curries were not so great. Wouldn't recommend.

Service is very very poor. Also, the food is not so great. There was such a loud music playing in the Party room that we had to leave our food mid-way. Inspite of our repeated requests to lower the music, nothing happened. Won't recommend anybody to go there.

Don't know why service rates so low. People were lovely, the food was delivered promptly and courteously.

Where to start, this was not an enjoyable evening. The place looks nice, neat and tidy but ambience is not made up of 3 large television blaring Bollywood film clips. The wait staff really are clueless , no table presence or idea of the menu. Service etiquette was non existent with staff leaning over the diners and empty drinks not taken away nor refills offered. The standard fare was not well explained for example no offer of rice when ordering butter chicken even though the dish does not come with anything. The pupadoms were not fresh and resembled the microwave variety available from woolworths in both appearance and taste. Some dishes are tasty but way overpriced and only slightly better than food hall fare.

Food was ok. Good South Indian dishes, however, there seems to be no difference in the North and South Indian thali's. Service horrible, waitress dropped dishes at our table, soiling our clothes, as we were leaving. We didn't create a fuss, just left. Probably wouldn't go back for the bad service, food ok.

Food and service both are lacking. The Ambience is perfect. Such a beautiful place. They should spend some money on good staff and chefs. Price is a little bit high but I dont think anyone will have problem in paying to dine in at such a beautiful place. Only if the quality of food is good.
