I had a great and very enjoyable time whilst dining at Sous Le Soleil Roseville. A very cute little cottage in the middle of the park. We had lunch while the birds played in the fountain.
The Staff were amazing, always coming to our table with a smile and always able to help. The whole lunch was very relaxing and not rush, which is a nice change.
The food all looked great and tasted even better. Very Yummy! Only thing I would comment on was, when you walk in at first, its a bit confusing as to whether you seat yourself or they seat you. They seat you. Had a lovely Lunch. Will go back again.

Didn't get to comment on the food or quality or value as we walked out. I understand it's a busy time of year, but when someone walks into your cafe, it'd be nice for someone to acknowledge them with at least eye contact within 10 minutes of arriving (rather than the 6 staff who brushed past studiously avoiding any eye contact).
Then, should we *horribly* try to help out, by seating ourselves, perhaps, work with your customers rather than go into a condescending dressing down, it was just too much. We walked out.
Response from Management:
Seating yourself whilst others queue for a table....opportunistic.
Making a scene and storming out.... unfortunate.
Realising that you should’ve booked like everyone else... priceless.
Thank you for your feedback.

As a not to distant neighbor of Le Soleill I recently took a visitor for lunch, both of us were disappointed.
On value a for money rating it is not good. The food was very ordinary, probably bought outside.
Wine choice was very very limited & overpriced.

Ugh, just dreadful. Had breakfast with two of my friends. They didn't offer us the pastry menu, only the overpriced one. My friend asked if they had banana bread. The waitress curtly said yes - and later brought out some weird nut bread. My friend said 'this isn't banana bread' and the waitress said 'yes it is, it has banana in it.' Oh dear. At least they took it away and didn't charge us for it.
The drinks were ridiculously expensive. I had a croque madame with a cold gelatinous fried egg on top. Service was awful. Never willfully going here again.

A beautiful Sydney Sunday morning was made more beautiful by breakfasting at the gorgeous little French cafe in a suburban park. Part home wares store, part country cafe, it was delightful!
Croque Madam, perfectly cooked omelettes, and the ambience of the park. It was busy and that took it's toll on the service which was officious rather than friendly. We were given breakfast menus, but only noticed the pastry menu on the way out, a croissant would have been nice. Bowl-served cafe au lait would have been a great way to get into the French feel, but alas, none on offer.
Still, a unique and loved setting, with beautiful food.

Wonderful celebratory lunch yesterday, everything perfect, except the waitress placed the cutlery on the table touching the fork prongs!

This place is sooo gorgeous! I have had breakfast here many times and I love it, however, the lunch menu is very over priced. I don't mind paying for good food but this isn't. Very average lunch.

Really lipsmacking food and gorgeous surrounds. Very friendly, welcoming staff who were attentive without being intrusive. Perfect portion sizes that left room for a delicious dessert. Found prices very reasonable for such an enjoyable all round dining experience. Will be back often.

The ambience is great, a lovely little heritage building in the park - very nice- but do you go to a restaurant for the surroundings or the food? I called a few days ahead to ask about vegetarian options as there were none on the website menu. A friendly staff member assured me they catered for vegetarians and they could make us a lovely salad with whatever we wanted in it and that the blackboard menu had a tartlet which could be made vegetarian for us as we had given them two days notice. He even checked with the chef to ensure we would have a few options on the day. The tartlet had ham in it and the one vegetarian option "exciting salad" was mostly grated carrot and a token lettuce leaf. Very ordinary and very overpriced. Please don't say you cater for vegetarians when you clearly don't - have the courage to lose a potential customer instead of misrepresenting yourself and serving substandard food.

Does one really expect corn chips with your dips, if so then this is the place to go. Had to go back to the register to get the waitress to take our drinks order, to remind her of our orders, to clear the table, to provide us with the coffee and dessert menu and finally to get the bill. Oh by the way, the food is fine if you are happy with overpriced unadventurous bistro food. Won't be returning.
