I had hair in my pasta, told the waitress and she gave me the "I don't believe you look", no apology or special offer given what so ever and it was my friend's birthday as well. Pasta was very bland and boring. I wouldn't recommend eating here.

You must try the Nani balls which I believe are not on the menu. They are little bread balls cooked in the woodfire oven and marinated in garlic, herbs and oil. Very tasty and great for an entree. I keep making the mistake of ordering a garlic pizza which comes out as garlic pizza with no cheese, although it may be my fault, I'm sure alot of people may forget to ask for a "cheese and garlic" Pizza. Maybe staff can help the customers to clarify this before writing it down. Always full of people. The menu has got shorter since when it first opened. Still a great place to eat at.

A great and much needed restaurant in the area, the food is a little overpriced but the pizza is excellent. The owner is quite friendly and I have never had better pizza anywhere.

Well, what I can say. After nearly 30 years in Australia last week I eat for the first time a real pizza, the best of the best. I was there with my family and all of us were surprised of the lightness and the taste of the real italian pizza. After we finished, before we left we went to compliment the pizza chef Mr Fabio which we retain is a real professional pizza chef.

When we had a talk he told us he comes from an Italian professional pizza school and that he uses only fresh products. I will for sure be a keen customer and I recommend to all the people to go to this fabulous restaurant: Sorrentos and have a pizza.

I felt the service was fantastic and I felt very welcome and waited on. The food was excellent and very cultural, it gave the true meanng to Italian cuisine. Definitely the thumbs up the whole way.

Well I just read sonnygee's report of sorrentos. How funny this person must be to have such little knowledge of penne napolitana. The tomatoes in the penne are slow cooked for about 4 hours with cloves of fresh garlic, not crushed so that the garlic dosnt over power the taste of the tomatoes. The penne is cooked aldente` which is the proper italian way of cooking pasta. As for the pizzas the oven is woodfired and the bottom of the pizza may have been dark as the oven uses real timber for the fire, hence the name wood fired pizza. Maybe you should stick to pizza hut or dominos pizza sonny. The waitress i doubt immensley would not have left you sitting for half an hour before serving you, as we go there alot, and the two waiters are always prompt and pleasant. If you gave the restaurant another go, why would you order ice cream ? It was the food you complained about. I also read your other review about bongiornos restaurant, how surprising your winging again about bad food. Anyway, sorrentos for us is a fabulous restaurant.

Got takaway 2 Pizza's and Penne Napoletana the Pizza was disgraceful burnt on bottom and absolutely no taste. The Penne were still hard and it tasted like they opened a can of tomatoes and together with cloves of garlic (which they must not have been bothered to even chop up) threw it in a takeaway container. The cost was $50 which was way to expensive. BUT i thought perhaps it was a bad night so i gave it another chance and went in for a coffee and desert. There were a total of 4 people in the entire place and the one waitress that was there seemed more interested in smoking at the back and flirting with another staff member. When we finally did get her service we ordered an ice-cream that took 30 mins to come out and coffees that were so hot we could not even drink them for a good 30 mins and when we did the milk was totally burnt. Obviously the waitress had more important things on her mind other than serving customers. Gave it one chance to many.
