Sofie is back! Sofie has once again opened the doors of a Greek restaurant sure to become renowned for its hospitality and excellent dining.
Because the restaurant is now located upstairs you will enjoy a world away from the bustle of Darling Street.

The distinctly Greek ambiance is supplied by walls adorned with traditional smashed plates from Greek restaurants all over the world.
The blue room separated from the main restaurant by silky sheer curtains, holds 20 people for a private function has a comforting palette of rich vibrant coloured cushions, blue/gold silk walls and candle light.

You will enjoy hearty traditional Greek dishes with exciting creative contemporary creations on the specials menu to tantalise your taste buds and satisfy your hunger. On Saturday evening, stylish Tsifteteli belly dancer floor-show completes the night.
Sofie and husband Peter are your hosts and will make sure your dining experience is unforgettable providing caring friendly service with attention to detail. They proudly talk about their talented chef Stav Stavrou who as they put it "loves to cook and cooks with love".

The food here was fantastic, fresh crisp flavours, which are often not forthcoming in Greek food. The best pita bread I have ever tasted, fantastic souvlaki, the meat are very tender and wonderful moussaka. I think we caught them on a bad might and they were a little understaffed, so a little slow, but extremely pleasant and helpful, nothing was too much trouble, we'll be back.

We have been to Sofie's twice in past few weeks and on both occasions had exceptional dishes mainly selected from the Specials menu. Each dish was very carefully cooked with complex flavours and all very light and healthy. The barramundi and fig and pomegranate salad were the highlights. Lots of large groups there enjoying the banquet menus.

We are recommending this restaurant to all our friends. Lovely hosts and absolutely delicious food. The spinach, fig, feta and pomegranate salad is a must. Too difficult to decide between such scrumptious offerings so we must return to sample more of the very inviting menu.

We'd a lovely evening. The hosts Peter and Sofie were very hospitable and entertaining. We got great advice on what to order, can recommend the spinach salad with fig, feta, and pomegranate Mmmm. Great and very authentic Moussaka too! Have spent a lot of time in Greece and it was pretty close. Thanks.

What a fantastic night we had which started as we walked through the door. We were greeted by Sophie with a friendly face almost as we had arrived at a friends house.

The service was great with Peter taking our order and my partner was impressed as he came down to our eye level to explain the specials and take our orders. The food was perfect, I had the white bait fritters and the lamb parcel which was the best shoulder of lamb dish I have ever had. We finished with coffee and had our photo taken even though at the time my partner did not want to it finished a really special night with it now to look back on. We will be back and take a big group of friend as I will highly recommend it.

Dined with friends at Sofie's over the weekend and was impressed. We had ordered the banquet menu. The food and service was excellent. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. I look forward to going back to try some more of the other meals and desserts on the menu. Highly recommend it.

Had a great Saturday night for a group of six friends. The place was busy but the service was great. The food especially the lamb was delicious and served in good quantities. Sofie came over a couple of times to make sure that everything was in order. Our group will definitely be back. Highly Recommended.
