Great food at great value, the place is a little funny. It feels inside out, you walk through the entrance into their kitchen! you can watch the chef matt make your meal which is great fun. The coffee is brilliant too.

Lovely banana bread, muffins and cookies. It's a nice little place where you can eat in or take away and be served with a smile. I haven't tried their famous homemade pies yet, but they do look and smell wonderful. Maybe next time.

If you are in Abercrombie st please drop in for a different experience. I found this caffe by accident whilst going for lunch elsewhere and since then I'll try to drop in at least a few times a month. The coffee is nice and fresh and the food is abundant, with a bakery on site and an open kitchen. But of course the coffee is the word, and six seven ate is widely recommended.

Not a lot of people know this but there are only two people in Sydney that bake banana bread. One of them supplies almost every single cafe in Sydney, and the other is the chef at Six Seven Ate. Great banana bread, fantastic pies...he's really a talented chef, so go eat there and hopefully he'll make enough money to spend a little on the interior design.

Great food and service, Mat the chef is always improving the place and the menu. A good place to pick up a birthday cake also.

Our favourite place for Saturday morning breakfast. Wonderful coffee and friendly service. Never have had a bad meal here and have never left hungry! Their home made meat pies are the best around too.
