My husband and I purchased an Ouffer voucher for a dinner for two at Signature Grill. We eat dinner out practically every night are always looking for new restaurant experiences. The email title of the Ouffer is really what sparked my initial interest: Mouthwatering Meats Grilled to Perfection! The images of the chips in one of the feature page photos looked outrageous, thick, chunky, and crispy like I love them!.

The offer was for a bottle of red or white wine, 2 entress, 2 mains from the grill and two sides. We live in the CBD, so Rozelle was not too far a cry from home to give it a go.

Unfortunately, it was an awfully rainy evening, one of many nasty summer evenings in Sydney this year. The restaurant was empty besides for the two of us and another couple who sat by the window. This was probably not illustrative of the kind of crowd that’s drawn on a typical weeknight when it isn’t raining cats and dogs.

The restaurant appeared almost unfinished in its design, with stark walls only decorated with a couple of oddly placed paintings. The owner of the restaurant was our server. She and her husband run the show- she manages operations and serves and he is the chef, the man behind the food. I think it’s wonderful when a husband and wife run a business together. It makes me feel like every component of the restaurant from the taste of each dish to the creativity of the menu has that extra dose of TLC. The waitress was very hospitable and served each course with a smile on her face and always inquired how we were enjoying everything. Good customer service is an integral part of a positive dining experience.

We ordered a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc Semillion. It was heavier on the sauvignon than the semillion. The wine was soft, light, and well paired with the fish dishes that we ordered for our mains.
I started with a Grilled Haloumi Salad, a mixed salad topped with grilled haloumi and lemon. I adore haloumi cheese when it’s prepared well and I would definitely give a 5 star rating to the Haloumi salad at Signature Grill! The size was very generous, the dressing was light yet citrusy and flavourful, and the haloumi was grilled to perfection.

For my main, I ordered the Fish of the Day, which was a barramundi, served with lemon butter and Harisa sauce on the side. Of course, after seeing the images on ouffer.com, I also ordered a side of chips. The harisa dipping sauce was very necessary, as the fish would have been too plain without it. The harisa sauce complimented the simple fish brilliantly.

Even though dessert didn’t come with the offer, a meal is never complete without something sweet to finish it off! I ordered the affogato for dessert. I had only tried affogato one other time at a restaurant in Pyrmont and was blown away by it. The affogato at Signature Grill was not half as tremendous as the one that sat on a pedestal in my recent memory. Perhaps the quality of the ice cream was less fine or perhaps it was the espresso shot that tasted a hint of burnt. I might be tempted to try the Baily’s Brulee next time instead!

Kids friendly. Great food and service when we went for dinner. Garlic prawns generous and very nice. Pork ribs tasty and loads of meat, perhaps, needs more basting or sauce. Wagyu steak was wonderful. Sides very nice as well as kids veal schnitzel. Seem to also have good deals at lunchtime.

A small restaurant focussed on the basics of excellent service, generosity, and great food. Great value for money and, in fact, great all round. Tried it for the first time a few weeks ago, and have already returned 3 times with friends. Highly recommended.

This place definitely has one of the best ribs and steaks in town. The medium rare rump steak was tender, warm, succulent, with juicy pink centre. Unlike other places, you can have decent conversations here over your lunch or dinner without shouting. Great atmosphere and kids-friendly too.

The best restaurant we have been to in a long time. Great value for where it is, the waitress made us feel very welcome. The food is amazing especially the ribs and szechuan squid. We ordered Choc cigar and bailey's brulee for dessert. They were sooooo yummy! Definitely worth going back for.

Best steakhouse we've ever had. The eye fillet was cooked to perfection. Also the signature ribs are really delicious and so juicy.

The food is certainly worth the price you pay. We have been to great steak restaurants but for a lot less, signature grill always deliver. Our waitress was efficient, polite, very friendly and pleasant. The ambience is ok, very clean with modern look.

Got to try the signature dessert sampler! Yum! We recommend sharing it though cos it can be quite rich for some.

This place has Sydney centre prices and is not that swish. Six dollars for a LLB is a bit much as is 39 for steak. Nice place but the views across a busy intersection are not worthy of such high prcies in my opinion.

Let me add my voice to the clamour of approval for this great new venue. Signature Grill is a welcome addition to the often overlooked "other" Rozelle eating strip. We've been here a few times now, and are always impressed by the warm welcome we receive.

Service is excellent, the food is far beyond expectations of a neighbourhood restaurant, the only thing missing is the crowds. Although, that's not a bad thing as in common with other reviewers, it's nice to be able to have a conversation!

There are a range of kids specials/offers, so it's worth checking out.

The food demonstrates real skill in the kitchen. There are not too many places that can perfectly cook and serve up a quality steak with the same consistency, and none that I can think of nearby that come close.

The ribs are a must-have, beautifully cooked, tasty and surprisingly lean. Steaks (of course) are excellent, splash out on the rib-eye, it's worth it, I've not had better anywhere else. The Szechuan squid is excellent as well, and keep an eye on the specials board too.

But be sure to leave room for dessert. There is a great range of homemade desserts to choose from, all are good.

We quite liked the ambience, some care has gone into the decorating, and we enjoyed the clean modern look. Grab a seat near the window to watch the world go by, or settle in for the long haul on the large and comfortable sofa-like seating along the wall.

All in all, do yourself a favour, cross Victoria Road, and try the "other" Rozelle strip for some great food, you'll not regret it!

We've had dinner here tonight and we enjoyed it very much.

The entree sampler was really delicious, the wagyu steaks were perfectly cooked. We also had the fig and pear pudding and it was great. The only thing this place misses is the ambience. However, if you are looking for a really good steak, this is the place to go.

Went here with the Ouffer deal bought online. Made the reservation for an evening during the week. Nobody was in the restaurant apart from us which was quite nice as we had the full attention of the waitress. The entrees were great. Garlic Prawns & Cheesy fries. Wagyu & baby chicken for main. Wagyu was ok, the mushroom sauce definitely tasted packaged. Their signature sauce is great. Service & Value was outsanding. Will definitely be returning again.
