Worst experience ever. Went last night for a birthday dinner that I was invited to.
I had The "vitello" which was meant to be a 300 gm Aged veal fillet served medium well. The veal supposed to be tender but I had an off cut of hard meat, hard to cut and hard to shew. The Veal was Medium cooked and red inside. I called one of the waiters to explain that it is not worth what I am paying for as it is terrible. She called the waiter in charge and told me that he will tell the chef.
After seeing the chef he came back to tell me that they will remove the charge from the bill and suggested something else and told me that no one ever complained about their veal before. I have explained to him how veal should be served and what was my expectation of having a proper Italian served veal.
At the end the bill came charging me the price of my veal and I couldn't be bothered talking to that waiter no more. Bad experience and not worth paying that money for that quality food.

First time checking it out for a possible function. Service was good, we ordered muscato wine and received red, returned it and Moscato (one glass of red still on the bill). Bruschetta was soggy from tomato, BBQ Pizza was great, but lamp shanks meat was hard to get off the bone and a fair bit of grizzle. Very noisy, will look elsewhere for a better venue.

They have changed their menu and the pizza has become smaller and they took a dish my friend really liked off the menu. I find that the seats are too close to each other but they do have nice cocktails and their meat dish looked ok. The lasagne I ordered came to me cold in the middle but they did not really apologise and asked me to come back. I won't be going back.

I've been there 3 times thinking maybe it was just a bad night but it seems most nights are bad night's.
The food itself very ordinary especially with what you pay for it. Service is shocking not through any fault of the wait staff its quite clear none have been trained. I can only assume it was the senior staff I spoke to when I got up to pay the bill. He seemed surprised that we didn't want dessert I told him we did and had waited 20 minutes to see the dessert menu, to no avail. His reasoning was sorry we are really busy?
Maybe they were busy out the back in the kitchen because there was at least 4 wait staff standing around doing nothing. Every business has a bad day here and there but I feel 3 chances is fair but they have now struck out. With so many other restaurants in parra you would think they would sharpen up.

My first time dining at the restaurant was on a busy Saturday night, the young gentleman at the door was polite and quickly seated myself and partner, even though we didn't have a booking. Sicilian is such a beautiful restaurant all the details around, had me so distracted and amazed throughout the entire time I was there.
The food is soo delicious, I had the pasta di palermo, the creamy sauce, bacon and chicken is a perfect combination. Service was speedy and the lovely young lady who served us, always had a smile. Will definitely be back!

A great place for a quick business lunch! A good lunch menu giving value for menu with a good selection. Pretty sure most of the options are on the evening menu but at half the price, plus the added bonus of a free drink with the meal. Service was good and pre-ordering as we were a larger group made it even easier. My pasta was delicious, and didn't hear any complaints from anyone else. Didn't have a pizza but definitely tempted for next time.

I thought it was just Criniti's that served over-priced Italian food, but I was wrong. At least with Criniti's the service is much better with more variety in food.
Starting with the ambience: the floors are sticky, the seats studded with crumbs from previous diners (or might just be the waiters wiping the crumbs onto the seats), the tables wobbly (my dining companions couldn't even use their knives in fear of the drink glasses tipping over, the water glasses had food stains on the rims! The ceiling decorations were nice however.
Service here is a complete joke. Someone spilled a drink near the entrance, and the spill wasn't cleaned up for a full half hour (I was sitting in plain sight of the entrance). I witnessed at least 3 customers nearly stacking it in the puddle.
Furthermore, my table was asked by no less than 4 different waiters whether we were done when we still had food on our plates. Like hello? Can't you see we're obviously still eating if there's food on the table and we're holding our forks and knives?! It doesn't take a genius to work out that if someone is holding a fork and has food in their plate, they are not done eating! And for Four Different Staff to ask us is beyond belief, do the wait staff even go through proper training?
Overall the food is alright, but, unfortunately, no where near enough to redeem this restaurant from my bad books. The wait staff simply don't care about diners, they just want tips despite the horrible service! Even the school kids behind the counter somewhere else have better manners than the waitstaff here.

A shocker! Definitely one to avoid. Slow service, bland food. Strictly "paint by numbers" approach to dining. Too many great Italian restaurants in Sydney. Sicilian definitely isn't one. Waste of time, money and space.

Nice place :) I found the pastas to be delicious and not too creamy and heavy like other Italian places. Bruschetta and pizzas were great, highly recommended. Love the atmosphere too :)

These guys seem to have no real interest in customers or in actually running a decent restaurant. The go through the motions of running a restaurant. Ordinary food which is priced way above its performance. Wait staff appear enthusiastic but untrained.
If you do go there, take your own wine ($3 pp corkage) as the wine list is average and expensive - house wines start at $30 per bottle. The fact that they allow BYO wine is the only positive thing I can say about them.
