Not a place to visit for special occasions such as Mother's Day. They have a set menu which is overpriced and do not allow you to order anything else. Huge shame as they have reasonable nice food and good ambience. They really need to work on their customer service and be flexible rather than lazy!

Lovely surroundings, we could have been in Koh Samui. Shame about the average food and worse service. The jungle curry with Wagyu beef was Wayu overdone, tasted like rubber. Rather small portions on large plates.

There is something familiar about this place, but I don't know what. The food is way too salty. I was drinking water all night. And what's with one main coming out and then waiting 20 minutes for the second. A smile can go along way too. There are many Thai restaurants around fighting for your dollar, so you can get better value elsewhere.

Had dinner there last night with my partner before going to the movie. The order was taken within 5 minutes we sat, and not long our foods and drinks arrived after. We both enjoyed our food, I had the cashew nut jill jam crispy chicken and my partner had pad see-ew. Thank you Siam Corner for a lovely dinner. See you again next week!

We dined here and were totally disappointed with this Thai. We were unfortunate to be given a table right next to a large group of loud and intoxicated customers which ruined our whole evening. We asked to be moved but were told, rather abruptly, no.
Our order took a very long time to arrive to our table and in the meantime food destined for the large group was annoyingly arriving at our table. When our food did arrive the dishes were either dry or very oily and one dish cold. The service wasn't friendly, more indifferent bordering on rude. I was told by my embarrassed host that the standards have dropped at Siam since they were here last. What standards?!

How Bad can it be? Extremely slow service and very ordinary food. My wife and I were in for dinner on a Friday night, after being seated it was almost 15 minutes before a waitress arrived at our table. I had already poured a glass of wine for my wife (BYO) it took another ten minutes to get my beer, I had to ask for it again.
The waitress when returning with the beer practically slammed it down on the table without a hint of a smile or apology for how long it took. The food arrived, we ordered the lamb cutlets as an appetizer, we received 4 cutlets although the waitress had told us there were 5 in the order. They were tasty and we didn't say anything, as we thought she might have made an honest mistake.
Our mains arrived shortly after, without the rice we had ordered. I asked the waiter who brought the food to bring us the rice, after 5 minutes he hadn't returned, I then asked another waitress who informed me that another waitress was looking after our table. At this point, losing patience, I pointed out that our food was getting cold and I wanted the rice now regardless of who brought it out. She passed on the message and our rice soon arrived.
As for the Mains we had the stir-fried pork Belly and the salt/pepper duck. The pork belly was so tough my dog would have had a tough time with it, the Duck was so dry it must have been overcooked by a factor of 2 or more (hard to dry out a 'fatty' meat like duck. I should note that no one had yet thought to offer me a second beer and in resignation I poured a glass of wine. I should also add that no one came by to enquire as to the quality of our meals.
With dinner finished we set aside our plates (it was a small table) and decided to see how long it would take for anyone to come and clear the plates.
While futilely waiting for our dishes to be cleared my wife observed that the couple at a nearby table were becoming extremely agitated as they too had yet to see a waiter. When a waitress finally arrived they informed her that they had waited over 20 minutes and were going to leave. She shrugged her shoulders making no attempt to apologise or somehow convince them to stay.
Back to our table, after 20 minutes I gave up and moved our plates to the nearby (now) empty table. A waitress came by some 5 minutes later and picked them up but did not acknowledge us whatsoever.
We finished our wine some 5 minutes later and made our way to the front counter, not being foolish enough to wait any longer for our bill. I advised the lady at the register of our terrible dining experience, I presume that she was a senior staff as she offered a 25% discount as compensation.
I advised her that I would accept the discount but due to the staff's complete lack of concern as to our dining experience we never again patronise this restaurant.
Final notes, the restaurant was busy but not overly so. There were plenty of staff wandering around but none that seemed interested in serving US (or that other couple). My wife had a good meal there last year but based on the terrible service (start to finish) and ordinary food, never again. Stay away.

This place is an absolute gem and has become my favourite Thai in the hills. Very similar to Red Spoon in the Piazza at Castle Hill except that you can actually hear yourself when dining in. Out of the two, I think Siam Corner has the edge. The food quality is excellent and a bit different than your standard Thai fare.
My favourites include pad kee mao (drunken noodles), crispy salt & pepper duck, soft shell crab and black pepper and the choo chee seafood. They try to change the menu regularly but I think that was causing problems with the takeaway clients.
Do yourself a favour and try the banquet if you're in a group of four or more - lots of variety and a good way to try things you wouldn't normally order. Worth travelling to if you're not a local. This place gets a big two thumbs up from me.

We went here last weekend and it was Busy, we waited forever to get our order taken, and then they forgot our drinks! Another waitress had to come and retake our order again, she said she was just checking to see that they had take down what we ordered! (ie. they lost our order). Then the food came and it was good but it was very rich in flavour, had ordered the chilli cashew nut stirfry. My partners Panang curry was great. Not sure I'd go back in a hurry! Castle hills Pimarn Thai is much cheaper and hard to beat plus much more tasty!

I came here when it first opened and it was good. On my most recent visit I was disappointed with the service and food. We waited ages for our drinks and food. The food was oily, salty and not very hot. They need to hire more staff on the busier days, and fix the problem, before I return.

Siam Corner succeeds as a great modern thai restaurant in the Hills area. The food itself is above average, however, portions are quite small for the stir fry, and is priced above average. Drinks are expensive, $4 for a glass of ice tea filled with ice if I can remember correctly.
Service cannot be flawed. Very friendly, quick, attentive and helpful staff, but not overly annoyingly attentive. Will be coming back.
