The food is quite okay. It has an advantage of opening until late so it's kinda convenient for late players. However, the service is terrible I must say. I don't understand why the staff there always give customers comtempt looks and with such an unfriendly attitude! Also, I got a bad experience there. One time I and my bf went there, just wanted to order something light for super. The problem was I brought with me a cup of Meetfresh desert. When I was about to eat it while waiting for our food, there was a guy working there came to me and asked me very impolitely to get out! I just did not know that customers are not allowed to eat things not from the restaurant inside. But if only he could have told me more gently and politely! I felt like I did something wrong in there and got kicked out... btw it was very bad experience. Never come back again!

Starting off with the good things: It has really nice dim sums like baos, wo tips, dumplings, xiao long bao etc. They're all pretty scrumptious.

Bad things: Overly priced. Really really poor service, my sister accidentally broke a cup and they didn't immediately come and clean it up, they just left it there. And when they serve you, they give you really comtempt looks. Also the restaurant looks nice in the outside, but in the inside it's pretty squashy.

Absolutely awful service. After waiting 30 minutes for dumplings, we asked the waitress if they were ready. She said they weren't. After another 15 minutes we give up and cancel the dumplings. The lady behind the counter argues with us and insists we cannot cancel them. All I can say is that after a 10 minutes argument with the rest of the customers staring, we will not be back again.

Met a couple of mates here for lunch Sunday 1 May. Service was ok, typical Chinatown service, nothing exemplary expected nor sought.

Ambience was nothing to write home about. Chinatown on the western side and George St on the east. Just typical Chinatown ambience I suppose but at least the place was clean. The toilets were clean as well.

Food - Pretty good. We lots to choose from. Similar to a yumcha but this is a Mainland Chinese restaurant. Lots of yummy dumplings, the noodles were good, slices of beef and pork also good. Nothing too fatty and all very tasty. Value - $16.80 all you can eat. Can't beat that!

This place is terrible. We had the all you can eat and any of the noodle dishes was like drinking slimy oil. The dumplings are the worst I have ever tasted. The jellyfish seemed like it came from a can. Avoid this restaurant at all costs.

Great food if you are prepared to put up with the fact that the service is shocking and the place is filthy. I nearly slipped on the grease on the floor, and I'm surprised the staff could see themselves in the mirrored walls, which they were certainly more interested in looking at than the customers. If you can put up with the bad, then the food is great for the money. Otherwise head somewhere else up the road. It's more expensive but it's twice as good (and clean).

Very decent, definitely reasonably priced, queue-free, slightly less polished alternative to others if you're not fussy about decor.

I wanted to write about this restaurant awhile back but it wasn't listed then. I was surprised with this place, small, very fast paced, no nonsense kind of place, with pictured menus. Four things I need to mention about this place though I am a bit rusty on their names. I think it was call caramelized pork or pork with black vinegar. A yummy version of pork trotters with sweet vinegar sauce. Two, the vegetable fried rice.

I've never had such simple yet delicious fried rice (rice with specks of green chopped finely) Yes it was just that simple and yet tasty. Their battered fried pork chop was very nice too, just balanced, not too oily and not at all dry. Lastly their pumpkin cake/doughnut was the first I've had and haven't found in any shanghai restaurants. It's a sesame rice ball version but with pumpkin. It's crispy with a touch of sweetness.

On the day that I was there, they had a major mishap, a burst pipe just over the seating areas and all business stopped there else I would have tried out even more food. Nothing to do with the restaurant itself or the food but it's also why it made this restaurant an unforgettable one. I would come back simply as it is nice food, at a very affordable price.
