Shady Pines Saloon never fails to attract large crowds thanks to the excellent decor, high quality cocktails and excellent customer service. Excellent single malt whiskeys, boozy cocktails (get 'em to make you an Old Pal while you're there - equal parts whiskey, sweet vermouth and Campari), an excellent range of beer, friendly vibe and expert bartenders.

This place has a great atmosphere! Once walking in the doors you truly feel as though you have transported to the Wild West.

They have a great selection of Whisky as well as cocktails for the ladies, and are reasonably priced considering its location.

Highly recommend checking this place out!

We had trouble finding this bar but once we stepped through the door it felt like we were transported to a different country! Friendly service and free peanuts for all. Love this place!

Shady Pines is great fun. Cool dudes behind the bar, free peanuts all night long, decor that doesn't take itself too seriously and delicious cocktails. It is loud and crowded but what good bar isn't?

A really cute quirky place and just the kind of bars we need starting up in Sydney! If we want Sydney night life to be anywhere as good as Melbourne we need to support these kinds of places! Great drinks and great bartenders!

I love this place, but wanting to end our evening with a yummy cocktail, we opted for the smoky hot whisky with star anise, butter and caramel served with a scotch finger. Sounds good? The whole time we sipped it we were trying to think of what it tasted like, it wasn't a nice taste, and it got worse the more we drank, and those last few sips, I have to admit, was dry wretched, we should have just put it down but we were both so intrigued to work out what it tasted like, then spontaneously we realised it tasted exactly like betadine! Ewwwwww! Nice try Shady Pines but I think you may want to take that one off your menu.

This place is fabulous, try to sit at the bar and watch every one get set up! The best thing about this place is they have to keep it to only 75 people, so you can always get a seat! Well, unless you are standing out in the cold trying to get in! And yes its full to capacity even on Mondays.
