Exquisite food combined with excellent service. Menu is extremely creative, produce fresh and high quality. Vegetarian/vegan option was equally delicious, a rare thing. All of us left raving about our meal.

The food was exquisite. The restaurant itself is missing something, however, the flavours, presentation, and service presented itself as one of the best dining experiences in along while. The whole group was pleasantly surprised. One of our group was a vegetarian and even he commented on how tasty the food was. Definitely will go back.

We went a few weeks ago having seen that it scored well on this site and was value for money, True and recommended for sure, you will enjoy it and reasonable prices for high quality food. Service was friendly and professional, we will be back!

Such a lucky find that I never knew existed, would highly recommend anyone to try Selah. The food was amazing and was extremely impressed with how fresh the produce was bursting with absolute flavour. To top it off the restaurant is extremely cute and the small size really created a fantastic intimate experience.

Situated near Circular Quay I was taken here last night for my birthday dinner. The décor is nice, Nothing outstanding but a comfortable place to eat.

Service was very good and attentive. I didn't have to wait for a thing. Food was delicious. The Salt and Pepper squid was very good. My Partner had the scallops which were divine (I had to taste everything). Mains were also lovely and well sized. What topped my night off was the dessert. I had a bombalaska which I rarely see on a menu nowadays and it was to die for! Well worth the try.

Reasonably good wine choices and the cost was great considering most of the restaurants in this vicinity as far more expensive. All in all a great dining experience.

Dined in Selah before Christmas - food was fantastic and great value. The lunch deal $45 for 2 courses is fantastic for food of this calibre. Yes, it is noisy, but I went with a group of 14 people (for a business lunch) and not one person complained about the food - they all loved what they had. Additionally, the service (I believe Gabrielle was looking after us) was fantastic, as she was so friendly & helpful.

This is a great spot for pre-theatre dinner or a business lunch and it would be nice to linger a little longer one evening too.

Staff are very helpful when advised of time constraints and gently nudge you away from the beef pie if you need to be out quickly, which is a real shame because it's a great feed. The room does get a little noisy when full but Selah is a long way from being the worst offender in Sydney noise wise.

The wine list is compact but well chosen. Value is reasonable for the location. Thank goodness Selah doesn't have a water view, if it did it would be out of my price range!

My wife and I had our annual anniversary dinner at Selah last night. Entrée, mains and dessert were all flawless and delicious. The atmosphere was rather buzzy for a romantic dinner but we appreciated staff for seating us in as quiet a location as possible as we had requested on booking.

Service was unpretentious and spot on. It may have been a bit too quick for a romantic evening but next time I want to dine before making it to a show at the Opera House or Dendy, this is where I'll be coming. I don't tip but on this occasion I felt compelled to.

We paid around $95 pp for 3 courses including bread, 2 glasses of wine, 1 dessert wine and coffee. Considering that everything we ate was delicious we felt this was good value. As a side note, for once I took the time to observe staff at work in an exposed kitchen.

In Selah the 3 chefs and kitchen hand were something to admire as a picture of quite professionalism and efficiency, something you don’t see too often outside of a hospital operating theatre. But maybe they are all like that and I just haven’t noticed before. I'll see.

We stumbled into Selah, excited about the prospect of live Jazz (Sunday nights), which was wonderful. Then everything else was amazing too!

It was the most wonderful food I have ever eaten and very friendly service. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves beautiful flavour explosions in the mouth and a lovely atmosphere.

Also, my partner and I eat a gluten free diet and there was plenty on the menu to choose from (including dessert which is rather rare).

Absolutely wonderful!
