The ambience of a packed chinese restaurant near China Town. Fabulous find in Sydney CBD. Fresh, fast and new!

1st time diner for lunch 20 May 2005 with 4 other people. Order Fried Dumplings (about 10 pieces per serve, very tasty), Steamed Dumpling (just as tasty), Spring Pancake (very nice), Beef Soup (good broth). Food was very tasty and fresh. Would come back to maybe try the beef/lamb stir fry I saw on other tables and the spring onion pancake. Ambience was basic but suitable and friendly. Service was very friendly, especially the man who seemed to be in charge. Always smiling and helpful. Value was very good. $48 for 5 people ($10 each). Was pleasantly full. Would definitely return again.

This place has the best dumplings I think I have ever eaten. It's an absolute sensation. It's very busy around lunch time, but that's the sign of a good restaurant! Am looking forward to my next visit immensely! DO IT!!

The food is so good that the restaurant is creating an obesity scandal in our office as they we buy our food there all the time.

Peter always fits you in, just make sure you either beat the lunch crush or wait till 2pm. Fried dumplings..FAB, as is the jelly fish salad and the hot (spicey) chicken served cold. At $10 a head I challange you to find better bang for your buck in this part of the city.

By far the best restaurant I've ever come across. The food is authentic. The best Chinese restaurant in Sydney! I definitely recommend the fried dumplings and chopped noodles as second to none!

To be honest, the food there is not bad, I should say quite good most of the time, the beef noodle soup is really nice, one of the best ones in town. But.......the restaurant really need some kind of a big clean or at least get better air conditioning system, cos the restaurant is abit smelly sometimes. I am not expecting any good service there, since it's quite busy and it's understandable that staffs do get tired, but that day when I was there, there was only 4 tables. That waitress saw my friend and I standing there but she never planned to come and service us. Luckily the boss or manager was there, we waited for a long time to get our two beef noodle soups, where people who come in after us got their's.............well, if it's not my boyfriend who likes the beef noodle soup there and never cares about service, I will not go there again.

You'd be hard pressed finding better value for the quality of food served here. For 4 people we had 6 dishes totalling just over $50 and walked out feeling enormous. Highly recommend the salt and pepper chicken (cold) and the beef with noodle soup (really clean, fresh taste) A hidden gem!!
