This place is brilliant value. Servings are large. It is not the type of place you go for a romantic or intimate dinner, but is great for a snappy lunch with co-workers or a relaxed dinner with friends. The dumplings, pork buns and spring pancakes are second to none!

I had lunch at Sea Bay with two mates recently and it was dumplings all round! Well first we started with the stuffed pancakes which were huge and fresh stuffed full of noodles, veggies, mushroom and egg. Then came the dumplings- hot, fresh and with beautiful fillings, lovely textures, almost every ingredient was discernible, not a gluggy mish mash like some dumpling fillings can be. The place was packed, people sharing tables in typical hawker fashion. An excellent dumpling experience, wouldn't mind trying the noodles next time.

Eat here regularly. A bit cramped and noisy but sometimes that is a nice vibe to have. The food is excellent and good value, and service is very efficient. Get the pepper lamb and the shallot pancake. Both excellent. Not a good place for big groups as it can take a long time to get seated and it is not a place where you can have a long leisurely dinner.

Still my favourite dumpling place in Sydney. Can't go past it for value and a good feed everytime. It's BYO, so it's a great option for a cheap get together with friends.

Food is tasty and simple, but it makes up for lack of refinement for being so cheap! The handmade noodles definitely a highlight. Springrolls have too much bean noodle and the pastry lacks the delicacy needed for the dish to really sing. Again the shallot pancakes are too thick and deep fried. The real thing should be a lot less gluggy and thick. Salads generally good as are the dumplings!

Service is harried as there aren't enough waitresses on, but that is why they can charge $10/main. They do a good job covering the tables considering.

Cheap and cheerful is all you want from a dumpling place, and Sea Bay certainly delivers. I've converted dozens of friends to Sea Bay and now they're all addicted too!

The vegetarian dumplings are the best I've had, some places make them really bland, but here they rival the meat ones for flavour. The handmade chicken noodles are amazing, as is the shallot pancake. Crispy, full of flavour and perfect, melt-in-your-mouth flaky pastry. I get Sea Bay cravings every time I leave Sydney!

My only tip: get there early to avoid the crush for a table, or the din (the walls are tiled, so everything echoes).

Great northern style Chinese food. I love noodles and dumplings and this place delivers. Boiled dumplings are less than 10 bucks and you get 17! find me a better value than that in the city. Proper sauces are on the table, tea is served with lots of leaves in the pot, just what I want from a dumpling house all around.

Ambience and service a classic for this sort of place, not great, but do you go to a local dumpling shop for that, or do you go for Hot tasty noodle soup and piles of tasty juice flavorful dumplings? Yum! give this one a go.

Awesome Dumpling House, I go there every few weeks and meet friends after work to catch up. I am giving a 10 stars for service. While I have certainly had better service in more upmarket venues, they exceed every expectation that I have for somewhere with main courses under $15!

When busy they might not be quick with bringing wine glasses, but given they don't charge any corkage why should they? Our order is the same every time, mix of steamed and pan-fried dumplings, the handmade chopped noodles, and the salt and pepper pork. You stay awesome Sea Bay.

Tasty Tian Shan fare. You can't go past the classic handmade noodles and peppered lamb. Service is prompt and friendly, definitely an institution. Highly recommended.

Decor is basic to say the least, but the great food and excellent value are what you go for. Love their steamed dumplings!
