We just had dinner here. Love the kimchi and other side dishes and the Korean beer! Good quality and generous portion. Good service too. Definitely will be back again.

We went here last Saturday and it was great. The food is very good and is very cheap. It is literally cheap and cheerful. Don't go here if you are expecting fine dining restaurant service/ambience.

Has had a local following for many years now and I can see why. You can either choose to sit at regular tables or have a bit of fun with it and sit in the cushion room. Their hotpots are great, so is their crispy shallot pancake, we tried 3 different types of meats but for me I personally prefer Bassim at strathield as I like my meat well charred and their marinade was a lot tastier. Although the staff does cook your meat for you here which saves you that extra hassle. A good one to try if you're close by.

The food was overall good at Se Joung. The chilli pork and bibimbap were the stand outs here. The service is great and ambiance is equally nice. The are a lot of good restaurants in Campsie and this is one of the better ones.

Went as a group of four and opted for the table seating, will try the floor seating next time.
The side dishes arrived late with the mains and comprised of bean sprouts, cucumber, eggplant, and two types of kimchi. The eggplant was my favourite as it was marinated in light soy sauce and sesame oil. Their homemade wombok kimchi was overly salty but the other type of kimchi was more harmonious in flavour.
For entree we had seafood pancake and fried dumplings. The seafood pancake was too thick and floury for my liking but the fried dumplings were quite good.
While the waitress cooked our sliced beef and beef ribs, we enjoyed the beef and octopus hotpot. The rice noodle cakes were so soft and chewy absorbing much of the hotpot broth.
Service varied amongst the three waitstaff and the male staff of the night was most attentive and efficient. Although one of the female staff was helpful in wiping the puddle under the table originating from the leaky barbeque. The other female staff whom we encoutered first upon walking into the restaurant was rather grumpy and ignored us at the door, and ignored us again when we raised our hands to order.
Since the place is so easy to get to and Woolworths parking is conveniently steps away, we are looking forward to visiting again for a lunch time bibimbap.

There was a dead fly in my soy sauce! I'm sure this restaurant has hygiene issues, oh well! Food is average, nothing too special. Price is inexpensive but dish size is not very large. The restaurant furnitures are wearing out, the whole atmosphere is dull, boring and unexciting, they should really renovate. Service is pretty good.

The food here is excellent, it is the best Korean food in the area. The chilli pork was great, so was the chicken soup. Service is good and prompt. The price was also unbelievable, under $25 to eat such good food until we were really full. To try something different you can opt to sit on the cushions and dine from a low table. Not high on splendour but for good, hearty Korean food at a very affordable price, Se Joung is perfect.

Went here for lunch just yesterday. The place can easily be missed. Located on a corner next to a Woolworth store. Since it was our first time we had no idea we could enter next door to dine the traditional Korean way (sitting on the floor). English is not their first language but can manage with simple English. There was only one waitress (she seem to be a hard worker).
Loved their side dishes we ate things we thought we would never enjoy such as cold broccoli, cooked cold bean sprouts and egg plant, can't figure out what they all have been dipped in. It seems the locals love it here too (we noticed a lot of Korean people dining with us). We had marinara pancake (a bit oily for us but nice) and a soup which had slices of really soft potato, tofu, zucchini and marinara mix (seafood mix) it was beautiful and cheap ($10).
The owner is a nice lady and we were able to communicate with the waitress in regards to the spiciness of our food. I can't hack spice. The ambience, well there's not much to its interior, feels like home until you look up the ceiling where they have fancy chandelier lights which didn't go with the warm, dark lighting of the place. We didn't opt for Korean BBQ dishes as we were having it the next day. It was surprisingly a pleasant lunch.

Cheap and cheerful. We dined at somewhere else in North Strathfield a few weeks before here and although it is more expensive, the quality of food is better than Se Joung. With that been said, still good food and generous portions if you are choosing the cook-your-own bbq dishes.

Went there for dinner with my family. Was expecting to cook the food ourselves but it turns out that the food is prepared before our eyes. Foods are very yummy and considering the portion they are good deals. We tried their beef bbq, seafood omelette, the spicy tofu soup and the korean style tempura all good quality food. Will definitely come back.
