A stylish and friendly cafe and gourmet food store. We source our products from all over Australia, with a particular focus on quality and availability. Scrummies is also ideally suited to individuals with dietary intolerances, particularly gluten and dairy. As well as stocking gourmet groceries which cater for these needs, we also have specific items on our food menu and one of the largest selections of gluten free cakes in the area.

After a lengthy scenic walk to Oatley, thought this place looked quite nice to try for a lunch. Service initially prompt and promising, but felt deteriorated as the meal went on. As my friend and I had our (partially depleted) water bottles from the walk, we were questioned as to whether we actually needed some water for the table. (nothing like having warm water you've been carrying for an hour to accompany a meal).

Gestured inside to where I could help myself to sweetener when asked if I could have some for my coffee. Felt a bit hassled when staff hovered several times to clear table and check if everything was Ok, were they wanting to move on a couple of ladies who didn't fit their demographic target? Having said that, the food was great, coffee excellent and would probably go there again (without training shoes and shorts) to see if it made a difference to their 'tude.

A lovely little place with some excellent products available inside. Only a small menu with a good range which is done with high quality produce and done very well. Care is put into presentation and proper sourdough is used. The coffee is excellent which is evident by the amount of takeaways leaving the shop. The service was a little slow and we had finished our coffees long before we received our breakfast on what was not a busy day. I would definitely go back.

I just recently started going to this cafe and Love it. It's got better service than all cafes nearby, the food is by far the best in Oatley and the ambience is really great with lots of people. As another reviewer said, it's like an Eastern Suburbs cafe but better. The lentil burger is definitely worth a try! Andrew and Ben (the owners) have definitely established a gem for us.

I've been to Scrummies a few times now for lunch and the occassional coffee.
Lunches have been delicious, and the coffee is well made and much to my liking (Tobys estate). Always feel welcome and always served promptly, professionally and with a smile. Got to love it, got to go if you haven't been yet. See you there!

Scrummies is a cute little cafe hidden in a side street of oatley. It offers big servings of nice hot coffee and sweets. Scrummies cafe has the charm of a uber chic paddington cafe right in the burbs.

Great little cafe in Oatley - much needed. Excellent range of deli-type foods with a huge range of gluten free (yay!). The coffee is excellent, I love taking friends here. My only request is that the soy milk is changed to Bonsoy - sorry to sound like a Bonsoy snob but it tastes better than others and paying 50c extra for soy should be rewarded with nice soy milk. Plus it is produced in a different way to other soy milk, bypassing the nasties that other soy milks have.

Scrummies is a very nice Cafe for breakfast and lunch. The coffee is always very nice and the Sonoma paninis are a bit expensive but beautiful. I would also recommend their Cous-Cous salad when it is on as a special.

Scrummies is a little hidden gem in Oatley. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the owners, Ben and Andrew, go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The coffee is amazing and I love the fact that when you ask for a large coffee you really do get a large one!

I have been here numerous times, as there is always an array of scrumptious fresh cakes waiting to be tasted! I have also eaten there for lunch 2 times and have found the food to be above normal cafe standards and extremely good value for money. I would recommend this cafe to anyone!
