Parking Suggestions
Sanders is at the end of Cabarita Rd in Cabarita Park on d'Albora Marina. It sounds confusing however it is actually very simple. Drive along Cabarita rd, enter the park, keep driving down to the water and you will eventually drive into the car park in front of the Marina. There is over 200 car parks in the Park so you will always get a spot.
Rather than park you can also catch the Jet Cat from Parramatta or Circular Quay it costs $5 and is a great way to get to Sanders Waterfront Restaurant.

Sanders Waterfront Restaurant has been an icon for a la carte and functions for nearly 20 years.
The restaurant is located on d’Albora Marina which is in the inner west suburb of Cabarita (approx 15km from the CBD or Parramatta). We are a casual fine dining waterfront restaurant specialising in red meat, poultry, seafood and vegetarian dishes served with a modern Australian influence.
Sanders sits on top of the water, offering its patrons an unobstructed 270 degree view up and down Sydney Harbour and recently we underwent a major renovation ensuring that the experience of dining at Sanders just went to the next level.
Food is our passion and for over 15 years the SMH Good Food Guide has listed Sanders as a venue of choice for those who appreciate a gourmet delight.
Regardless of the nature of your event the team at Sanders has the expertise and flexibility to make your next function or a la carte booking one to remember.
Sanders cater for all business and personal events up to 120 seated and 200 standing. If you have a smaller function we can package up an exclusive or non exclusive function from as little as 15 guests.

My husband and I had a rare free night without our three boys (all under 10 yrs old). We wanted a restaurant with great ambience, a good selection of food and good reviews. We found Sanders on Eatability and were not disappointed.
Our entree and mains were delicious. My husband's dessert tasted great too ... having filled myself up with the seafood bouillabaisse I just couldn't eat anything else. The service was attentive but not too attentive and the ambience was perfect - it was so nice not to have to yell across the table as experienced at many Sydney restaurants!

Haven't had a complaint before??? I find that hard to believe and here's another complaint about this very AWFUL restaurant. Why? Well the location is gorgeous, the service was attentive and pleasant, however it was so awfully let down by the dreadful food on the menu. This food would not even pass at a country RSL. Overcooked, burnt, bland, tasteless, stale and so obviously frozen.
I couldn't say one positive thing about the entree, main course or dessert. Sorry Sanders we gave you a go. It’s such a pity to waste the beautiful location on such average fare. Shame, Shame, Shame!!!
Response from Management:
Overcooked, burnt, bland, stale and frozen.......As the owner of Sanders I am thinking someone from the local area is not happy with the business we are taking off them due to our success as new owners. Nice try and I hope we can return the favour some time by rating your restaurant.

I went for lunch today for my mum's 60th birthday. I found this place on the net and looked great. We started with entrees and the calamari was the favourite with all of us ordering it. It was nice but I feel needed a lemon wedge to make it perfect.
We ordered a mixture of mains from fish, lamb shanks to veal. Most were good. Shanks were a little dry. We decided to forgo dessert as we had brought a birthday cake with us. I was very surprised when we go the bill to have a cakage fee of $5 per person as well as an additional corkage fee of $5 per person. I have no argument on paying these fees but feel they were a little excessive. I eat out a lot and the most I have ever paid is $2.50 per person. The wait staff were good although I feel a little more training would go astray.
The views were fantastic, couldn't ask for better here. Thought the menu was a little limited as well. I would have liked more seafood for the location. I might try again before writing off totally.

We heard about the winter special and came here on a Wednesday night for a dinner. I have to say, for this price $35 for two course, it's excellent value! Not to mention the view, it's awesome!
Food was of high quality. We'd oysters and calamari for entrees, both very fresh and juicy! Servings are quite generous as well. As for service, it is friendly and attentive. Highly recommended, will definitely come back!

I received a great flyer in the mail recently from Sanders Waterfront Restaurant which particularly caught my eye. So I booked a table at late notice during the week. Arrived at the stunning location, and was welcomed by a young and bubbly waitress. It wasn't the busiest night which was great for the two of us as we had a nice table right by the water. We ordered our meals... Minutes later... WOW... The food was outstanding, I ate the duck, unbelievable. And my partner's thoughts were the same as he ate the swordfish.
After we had finished our meals we sat and soaked up the views over a few drinks as we caught the last rays of sun setting down the river. Great spot to dine. I would love to eat here for lunch to get the most of the views. Highly recommended!

We used to eat here and it was very good. My recent experience however was not up to the standard, food was ok but I was expecting a lot better especially considering the prices. Would not go back in a hurry.

Found this place by accident when I was urgently seeking a restaurant for my partner's birthday. Booked the night before we dined and the staff were totally accommodating of my partner's vegetarian requirements. We weren't disappointed and had a most magnificent menu. Service was wonderful, unobtrusive and attentive. This will be definitely recommended to friends for special occasions.

My family had a birthday lunch here with 5 people and had a really rotten experience. It looks like the management has changed since we were last there. It used to be a favorite restaurant but this time, we waited for ages for our meals. My mother in law didn't have a starter and waited 1.5 hrs before we got our mains, she was starving.
The soft shelled crab was disgusting, the mussels were not cleaned or prepared properly and had lots of unopened mussels in the pot. Generally the food was of a really low standard. They did end up giving us free desserts and not charging us for the mussels main, and our waitress was extremely apologetic but the gentleman who looked like the senior staff was not at all apologetic and wouldn't even acknowledge us when we left. We wouldn't go back and can't recommend it. Its a pity, it used to be great.
Response from Management:
Sanders is a Waterfront fine dining restaurant not a fast food cafe. Generally if you are dining in the style you would expect a gap between drinks, perusing the menu, ordering, eating your entrees and then getting your mains. I agree 1.5 hours may be 15-20 minutes too long however if you want quality food it takes time to prepare. In relation to the crab it really is personal preference. We sell upwards of 150 crabs a week and have never had a complaint. The mussels was another issue we had a temp chef assisting that night and yes he got it wrong by not cooking them enough. This was rectified and sent back out again. In reference to cleaning them..... come on they come from the markets pre packed and all clean. Not sure what this customer is on about however they are a Mussel!
