We tried the sushi train as it is cheaper on sundays. $3 a dish. No complaints about the food but the service was almost non existent. Only one person taking your sushi order who seemed to be busy clearing tables and we had to go and get her for service. (there was very little on the train to choose from). We ordered several dishes. The only waiter got things mixed up and we were given items that we did not order and others which were for someone else, perhaps?

Despite her writing everything down she still managed to get confused. The wait for the food was far too long. It was a very very quiet sunday night and there were plenty of staff in the kitchen. So why the long wait. We normally eat twice the number of dishes when we eat at sush trains but with the ultra slow service, we decided that we spent too much time waiting for the food to arrive.

The variety was okay but not as many dishes as other sushi trains we have been to for the same price. We will return as the price is worth it on Sundays. Let us hope the service improves substantially. I would hate to see them when they are busy.

Used a voucher to dine here for lunch. Had the all you can eat sushi train option over the entree, main option and it was fantastic. We were given the ice cream dessert as well. Service was great considering we ate at lunch and there was a huge 20+ group function on that day. Pleasantly surprised and a good experience. Reasonably priced too. Would dine here again.

Good food, good atmosphere, nice sushi train and extensive menu. Nice experience overall, but they forgot one of our orders. Besides that, one of the better Japanese restaurants around.

Love this place, so badly needed in Ashfield. The food is fantastic, both the Sushi Train and A-la-carte. Prices are very reasonable and service is great. My partner and I have been 5 times and loved it every time. We will be going twice a week from now on as it's definitely affordable.

Sat up for the sushi train service and thought the food was great - all the usual sushi and sashimi delights, with a couple of interesting variations.
Ambience was as you'd expect at a reasonably busy sushi train restaurant.
Good value for money, and being a byo was great.

Comfortable, relaxed and welcoming. Fresh, healthy food. Choice of sushi train or al a cart. Very kid friendly, Would go again.

Fantastic, sushi train, noodles and a la carte, and they even home deliver. Food's great, and there are some innovative twists on old favourites. Great value, and service is top notch. It's our new weeknight diner. Long live Sakura!

We took the kids and they loved it. The staff was very friendly. The Ika Sushi was very tender. The restaurant had the same feel as a few (modern) restaurants I went to in Tokyo.

Finally, a wonderful Japanese restaurant in Ashfield! Everything this place does is done with pride. The food is fresh, innovative and beautifully presented. The staff are warm, friendly and efficient. There is a sushi train for those who wish to frequent it, along with beautiful wooden table and chairs and menu. I would recommend this to any lover of Japanese cuisine.
