With unbelievable water views, an inspiring Australian menu by Head Chef, Nathan Darling emphasing fresh produce with an award winning wine list, your lunch/dinner will be off to a good start. Only an 8 minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will tempt anyone to take the journey by water, otherwise this beautiful northside suburb is accessible by boat, limousine, taxi or car.

Sails on Lavender Bay has one of the best vantage points in Sydney to watch the 9pm and midnight fireworks in Sydney. We will be celebrating the arrival of 2011 with a 9 course degustation menu by Chef, Nathan Darling with 9 matching wines from our extensive list by our Sommelier. Commencing at 5pm, you can relax and dine in style and be entertained. $500 per person includes food, wine and service…along with spectacular fireworks! Menu is subject to seasonal availability and may change at the discretion of the Chef. Payments must be made in full & cancellation policy applies.

This was the second time I have been to this restaurant. I had an overseas client and they, like me, were impressed with the view and the quality & presentation of the food and the service was superb - very hard to find fault. I was impressed with the greeting, the service, the food and the view and my guest walked away and says that it was a view and a meal they will remember forever. I will certainly be back.

We went with a large family group for a birthday celebration. Ages varied from 20's to 80's and everyone enjoyed it. Staff were very accomodating with picky eaters and food was lovely.

Some of these comments are not flavourable, some seem quite unfair. We would return to Sails and we would invite friends to share the experience.

The first time I went here about 4 years ago it was pretty good but since then I've been a handful of times and consistency is its problem. One time the steak will be lovely, the next overcooked. Similarly, the barramundi was great once but not the next time round. Great views, though. Reasonable service a little bit pricy for what you get.

From the moment we were welcomed to our window seat, especially asked for when we booked, we felt welcome and relaxed. The food was delicious - two of us had the barramundi which was succulent and sweet. Desserts were great and I can certainly recommend the Green tea panna cotta. Service was professional, friendly and fast. Go there for a great night, good food and views that complement the wonderful experience.

Newly renovated with new owners, new Menu & new HEAD CHEF "Brett Deverall" ex Mezzaluna. Great food & wine listin one of the best. Site is at Sydney Harbour.
