Ordered entree and 2 mains. Waited over 1 hour for one to arrive. Asked the waiter 3 times when the next meal was expected only to be told 'very soon'. Below average Vietnamese and not super cheap. Left without the second main as had a movie to attend. Won't be going back.

Enjoyed a relaxing catch up with girlfriends over decent 3 course meal. Very decent sized portions - great BYO.

Despite the scary painting of the freakily smiling people adorning one wall, we quite liked the atmosphere of this little place. Food came in big portions and the menu is quirkily funny. The food was good, not the best I've had but not as poor as some of the other experiences reported here. Service was also fine though there were only 3 or 4 other tables occupied.

We love this restaurant. It has always been a favourite. We travel across the city to eat here. I can't believe that anyone has bad service as we always find it very attentive.

Ok, the food was delicious, but I had the most awful experience there for my birthday. My friend sneaked a cake into the restaurant as a surprise for me and in the middle of dinner, the waiter comes over to the whole table and asks my friend "Did you want the candles in the cake?" Let's just say he wasn't the brightest person I've met. Also, this place didn't have pho, which I found very disappointing.

Went for an early dinner on a Saturday night. The house was not full with only 3 tables but the service was quite slow. We ordered 3 dishes and they misplaced one that we needed to rush the dish at the end to meet our schedule.
Wait people simply not very attentive and alert of what the customers' needs are. Food was average and a little overpriced for some based on its quality. The popular pork chop dish is disappointing as it's sort of overcooked and burned. Not likely to go back.

I liked the look of this restaurant. Not very crowded and tastefully decorated.
The food was a little disappointing. I thought it was very average with no imagination no flavours and no attention to detail. I don’t want to be misunderstood by no means it wasn’t the worst Vietnamese food I had in Sydney but it wasn’t the best either.
Although very hard to get a smile from the waiter, he was very attentive and knew his menu well. I won’t be rushing back but I am prepared to give this place a second chance. Who knows next time might be better.

Great food, great vibe. We went on a saturday night and it was fab. My only gripe is that it was our first time there and once the obvious 'regulars' were seated at the table next to us, we were largely ignored. Other than that, it was great. We'll be going back and hope the service is more attentive next time.

Love the food in Saigon Saigon. There is such an explosion of flavours and the food is cooked to very high quality. I got the salmon clay pot. It is very filling, portions are generous. The restaurant is small and intimate I really enjoyed my meal here.

Had a shocking meal here on a Saturday night. Salt and pepper squid tasted like cardboard. The duck curry, the duck seemed old and greasy. The curry was watery and the vegetables didn't seem to have been cooked in the curry. It's pretty difficult to tally our experience with the other reviews here, frankly. Maybe they had an off night.
