This restaurant was appalling, since obviously changing hands from Old Saigon. The waiter didn't speak english (unknown to me at the time of order), and said "yes" to everything we asked, which at the time just seemed attentive and polite. I specifically told waiter I was allergic to prawns, then ordering the pancake "without prawns".

The Pancake came loaded with 8 prawns, thick and heavy, and with no flavour according to my dinner companion who was stuck with a massive tasteless pancake. More over, the the prawns were not cooked cleanly, they had black areas and looked boiled. The plus, however, was that the spring rolls were edible. Beef cubes in lemon pepper with fish sauce resembled 5 star dog food that comes with gravy, and tasted like it was cooked 3 days ago.

The chicken salad was mixture of cabbage and raw (slightly under cooked) chicken giblets, with a sprinkle of mint. Presentation was poor. We didn't touch the chicken salad, which was not taken off the bill.

Not a bad little local place. Take-away chicken rolls are great. In terms of sit-down meals, make sure you order the Vietnamese, not chinese dishes, eg. pho, rice vermicelli, grilled pork (pretty good!). Great value.
