Delicious. Great service. Ordered way too much but it was still sensational. The waiter even offered us to take the remaining bits home if we wanted, but we declined. We had this really nice snack thing for starters with mini poppadoms and a variety of dips, better than paying for them separately. If we return to Manly, we will return to Sahib's!
I know Indian food and if you think this is good quality, you are so wrong. The cucumber raita was awful and tasteless with orange bits in it!! The onion bhaji was more of a curry powder flour ball with two pieces of onion in it, not what I'm used to. The rogan josh curry and the lamb madras were fair, the meat was a bit sinewy but the flavour was pretty good.
The worst part about it was I asked for some ice and 6 ice blocks were bought to the table in an old tatty red tupperware bowl!!! Won't go back there. Yet to find a true Indian curry in Manly.
I have been here many times and enjoy the food. I've had several selections and all have been very tasty. The service has been prompt and polite. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Went with my girlfriend on a sunday night so was very quiet, on the quiet side of manly which is always a plus. Sercvice was great, ordered butter chicken which was excellent and beef vindaloo which was also good, although was not hot, was expecting very hot as per menu but it seemed the chilli was missed in preparation, was still good, if not extremely mild meal. Great value great service. Will definitely be back.
Great value Indian tucker with quality ingredients, great friendly staff. Always seems less busy than the curry house next door but far better in my opinion.
This place is one of my all time favourites!!! I haven't found service like this anywhere in Sydney, so warm and friendly. You really feel like the place is your own, as for the food WOW! the butter chicken was so tender and the Tandoori had so much flavour but not to overbearing. Would definitely go back many times again and recommend it to all my friends.
We live around the area and went here for dinner after reading some of the reviews on this site. This is a gem of a restaurant! We have now been there twice and are still impressed with this place. The food is great (we had the lamb and masala dosas, aloo gobhi (sp??) and the chicken tikka masala, and the garlic naan was fresh and delicious). However what makes this place stand out is that the service is so warm and friendly - you know you will always have a lovely evening here. Defintely recommended if looking for good Indian food for good value and good service on the northside.
This is easily the best Indian restaurant in Manly. Every time we eat there the place is full but the service is still impeccable. We have been there on a number of occasions and I believe you could pick anything off the menu and not be disappointed.
I had a birthday dinner there recently and there was no faulting the food. The restaurant was a bit empty which is a shame because value for money and dishes were excellent.
The food is amazing - a must try would be the tandoori. The service is great without been overbearing and the atmosphere is authentic. We visited this restaurant in October for my brothers' birthday and had a great night. In January we dropped by again, the food was outstanding on both times.
We would bring our overseas and interstate visitors here. A must for North Shore residents. we loved every minute of it.
