Wow! I am somewhat amazed at what people have to say in this review of the restaurant. It is a shame that a lot of regulars of the bistro doesn't come here and voice themselves, because I am sure there'll be alot of positive reviews. Portions are massive, value for money and very clean! and such a nice place for a regular family gathering or just a quick feed!

Excellent food with a huge choice of Asian or Aussie cuisine. Servings are massive and they also have pretty good coffee and ice cream. Typical of a bowls club, the food & drinks are really cheap and service is friendly and fast. Great food at a great price!

I am forced to update my entry on this restaurant due to a recent visit.

We visited this club again approximately a month ago. The food was absolutely disgusting. My T-Bone was one of the toughest I have ever encountered. The animal it came from must have died of old age. Although quite hungry I had to leave most of it on the plate. The salad was pathetic: just some lettuce leaves, slices of tomato, cucumber and onion with a splash of tasteless salad dressing.

My wife ordered the Singapore Noodles. She described it as "bland" and being "virtually nothing but noodles". Any less meat or egg and she would have required the services of a Food Science Technician to detect it.

This club bistro is well above average. It has been operating for years and its success is owed to good quality Asian food, generous meal sizes and prompt service. The bistro is very popular with the office workers from the nearby business estates, club members and local residents. If you are hungry and in the area Rydalmere Bowling Club Bistro is definitely worth a visit.

The food at all times is first class, the staff are friendly and helpful and meals are served with minimum waiting time. The kitchen and eating area are clean and tidy and it is a pleasure to eat in this bistro, well done Rydalmere Bowling Club.

Food is always good, I stick to the asian meals as they do that the best. Portions are huge and you never leave hungry. The service is also prompt and friendly and I totally disagree with antlong's comment about children. This club welcomes kids and there are no problems with kids having a dance on their dance floor.

The food is absolutely brilliant. The restaurant and restaurant staff are absolutely fantastic. But the club is not children friendly. Require sitting in their seats otherwise ask to leave.

Worst still the staff from the club are RUDE and AGRESSIVE with no manners. This is really uncalled for when a polite we can’t allow kids to run around the dance floor would do. It is a pity we will not go back again and the food is second to none!

The atmosphere is typical of a small bowl but the asian food here was so good, I will be back and am thrilled to know they have take away also.

My parents eat here almost one an week and me and my husband often go with them. We have had about 15 dishes from their menu and I can not fault one. The Salt and pepper king prawns, King prawn omlette, lemon chicken, sweet and sour pork and Sredded steak in peking sauce are amoung our favorites. The servings are huge and and the food is fresh and flavoursome. Would recommend this place to anyone, some of the best Chinese I have ever had and it usually only cost us about $50 to feed 4 people and we all go home very full.

This is the most underrated Asian food found within the local area.

I came here with a group of mates based on one of the boys coming here for a feed with his older brother. The food was fantastic and so cheap I couldnt get over it.

Ive been back heaps of times since. And to top it off, you can throw down a cold schooner no dramas as the main dining area is adjacent to the bar.
