My First time dining here at Rupee Room and it was amazing, not your ordinary local indian restaurant, the food is diverse with a range of flavours I would definitely recommend the Barramundi, it is a little more expensive than your regular but far better. We went on a sat night without a booking and had to wait for a table for 40 minutes so I recommend making a booking.

Disappointing! Whilst the service was efficient the meals became indistinguishable. We ordered samosas as a starter and they came with what looked and tasted like soy sauce....maybe it Was soy sauce! We then had 3 mains and could not tell which was the beef, chicken or pork! They all looked and tasted the same. For the money why are serves of Indian always so small?

We have been regulars at the Rupee Room for several years and have always enjoyed the hospitality and excellent food which Manoj provides. His new summer menu is excellent with lighter, fresh ingredients. Favourites are the Murg Gole Mirchi - a spicy peppery chicken dish with plenty of fresh vegetables and the Wembley lamb - deliciously cooked lamb pieces in a great combination of spices and herbs.

Great quality Indian food. Not many on the northern beaches. Impressed with staff, very friendly. Only problem was they had lacquer painted under their chairs and it was still wet. My partner and his bro ended up having the lacquer on their jeans including as you drag your chair in you got it on your hands. Cannot fault food or service though. Will definitely return.

Went here the other night, there are a million indian joints everywhere and this one was quite good, food was above average and service was nice, the restaurant itself is quite nice out the front, gets a little ordinary when you have to go out back to the carpark to find the mens. The strangest thing is the waiter actually broke a piece off the top of our wine bottle when he striped to open it. It was a classy 1998 red and we were stunned. The waiter was shocked, poor guy was 12 years old and doing his best, they gave us complimentary on tray to make up for it. Overall had a good night, was good value with a discount voucher.

Some tasty different curries like Almond Pumpkin Lamb make Rupee Room a good choice if you want something a bit more than your usual local indian takeaway.
I found the curries to be a little on the runny side rather than having a creamy sauce which I prefer but great nonetheless.

Visited this place on a numerous occasions and the food is to die for. One of the best indians in sydney the service is good in particular the bosses son but apparently what is going around in the area is that he is leaving and going to canberra which will be very bad for the rupee room as he is the only one with customer service skills anyway will be back the food was good.

Tried this local Indian for the first time on my birthday, they were able to fit us in on a Tuesday night but were busy which is always a good sign. The poppadoms were delicious and the remainder of the food did not disappoint. This is definitely above average Indian fare but the cocktails either need to be improved or left off the menu.

This is one amazing indian restaurant, I just had my birthday party a few weeks, I must say the food was lovely, so different from the other indian restaurants I have been to in Australia, its hard to get a good indian meal here if I compare the indian food we get in UK. The food at Rupee Room is just great, to start its healthy no oil floating on top, the combination of meats, veggies and spices is wow, the ambience is so good as well and service is perfect, a must go.

So I'm a Local in the area walked past this restaurant many times (always full) and I have always been intrigued to enter, however, the prices put me off a little bit as they are much more expensive than a local indian restaurant. However, this I decided to book on a friday night which they were booked out on then eventually got a table on the saturday and I was not disappointed, the food service and ambience was brilliant.

After visiting the restaurant I know and understand the prices they charge. The food is fresh vibrant and flavor-some and unlike most restaurants these days the waiters were smiling with the boss and the bosses son just amazing hosts to what I would classify as the best indian restaurant in Sydney. The bill for a table of 2, however, would set you back around $120.

However, a must try (make sure you book to get a table other wise on the weekends you will be disappointed).
