First of all, very good value for money. Food is cheap, yet the ingredients used are very high quality, quite rare. The food is delicious, ambience is so comfy and nice. Very relaxed yet great service.
A great little place with tasty food that fills a gap. Best breakfast in Potts Point, great for a quick or a long lunch and always great when you just want a beer and some simple food in the evening. Unpretentious like alot of the eateries in the area, the service is always good. Perfect for when you just want to watch the world go by with a bite to eat or a cuppa!
A place with character, a good atmosphere and nice friendly service. Though doesn't really cater for vegetarian/vegans so It's no good for me but the meat eaters seemed to like it.
Great location and service, however the food was a bit disappointing. Ordered the surf n turf. Requested the steak cooked medium however it came out rare, with the blood seeping through the mashed potato.
Don't tell anyone about this local's cafe. Set amongst a sea of backpackers, residents and assorted others. The variety of people and life on display from the front tables could be considered Sydney's best. One of the best breakfasts in Sydney and the Summer Eggs, Toasts or Benedict are divine.
My friends and I sometimes come here for breakfast after a big night. The food is delicious. The menu and the place are interesting with a range of people dining there. The outside area is nice. Service is very hip and friendly.
Went there with my boyfriend, the food was great and atmosphere soo relaxed, best coffee in Sydney. And on top of it there was the sweetest waitress with the biggest smile in the world. Unfortunatelly, we had to go back to Europe the following morning, otherwise would come every day.
This place used to be better than it is now. In the late 90's when they had the seats out of the old trains the club sandwhich here was really good. The bread almost did damage to your jaw, but it filled a hole like nothing else could. They also did a really good lemon lime and bitters. I've eaten here a couple of times recently, but its only average in terms of food. The Sunday roasts are ok value, but they are pretty ordinary. The new york restaurant on Kellet St does a better one for about $7, and this is where the *real* locals eat. I had a chicken sandwhich at roys that was pretty pricey and ordinary in taste one day too. Actually just now I'm clicking food down from a 7 to a 5. Dropped in 3 times for coffee in the last month too and that wasnt great either. Hmmm, might not go back
A favourite in the Kings Cross area. Excellent food and good service. Sit at the front in the street and watch the world go by or go through to the back yard for a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recomended.
