I found the food average at best. I had the spicy chicken and I could taste the spicy spice but the chicken didn’t have much taste!! The mixed entrees at least there are good portions with it but it's something they probably bought from the supermarkets and put into the fryer!! My friend's fish and chips and burger was average to him.
The place itself is nice but not that big. I went there a Saturday night and it wasn't that noisy so if you wanted to have a peaceful chat with your friends, this is the place to go. Also that night I saw people doing swing dancing, the dancing that you see in "happy days" was going on, now that's something different.

I really like the atmosphere here, and the food is good, and cheap, try one of the specials, the servings are small but still good value, esp the $5 chicken schnitzel on mondays.

Good people, good food, and top entertainment!! Always a quality special, trivia night is top value entertainment, truly a class show - not a dull moment! Always a good atmosphere thanks to cool staff and youngish customers! I will be back again!

Bring back the british lion! This place sucks. Cavernous and empty. Character - nil. Staff - terrible. Food - disgusting.

Pretty average. Thought it would make a good local because of the food specials etc. but the food is pretty terrible, especially the chicken schnitzel special on a sunday, they cover it up with gravy that tastes like straight HP sauce.
Besides the very average food, the staff are quite scary. They need to know how to handle the anger issue among themselves. Stay away if you want a comfy relaxed drink

Great meal deals from weds to sunday always make it a favorite when i'm wanting to go for dinner on a budget and still be able to thorughly enjoy eating it.

Had my 21st there last week. What a great place for a party, the dj was fantastic and staff even better. I'll be back.

Also enjoyed visiting this place. Went there a while ago for a cool music night with DJ's and live band. Went there for the first time during the week and had a delicious meal in a nice cruisey atmoshphere. Would highly reccomend a night at the Roxbury ;-)

I saw a great band called Bazz"s Blues Band on Thursday. Great atmosphere with a good feed as well. I'll be back.
