It's an RSL club with restaurant prices. It has that hollow RSL feeling and it looks cheap. The food would have been decent in the early 90's but Sydney has moved on. Great for coeliacs. Good views and decent service.

The view is lovely but it facing the wrong way. It should have been set up looking towards the bridge, that aside the staff were very rude (one staff member made a joke that I was unable to pronounce the name of the dish and then when it was brought to our table that same staff member pronounced it incorrectly himself). Value for money was poor. Very disappointed, save your money and go somewhere else. Won't be back.

Lovely spot for the warmer months, during day light hours as you can see the bay.
If you don't think one could go wrong with Pizza and Pasta, try this restaurant, food also way over priced.

My husband and I visited this venue for a quick dinner on a Monday night in December. The venue was a lot smaller than expected and than it looked on the website. The outdoor areas were very tired with cheap plastic outdoor chairs. The tables were falling apart. After sitting for a while passive smoking outside, we decided to move inside. A couple of the window/waterside tables were reserved so we sat a little further back.

The room could be nice but the paint on the beams was chipped and made the place look quite tacky. I imagine it would also be very loud when the restaurant is full, no soft furnishes and lots of glass and wood equals noise. The drinks were on the expensive side for a club, approx $7 for a VB and $7 for a wine. The menu is also quite pricey for a club, so we decided to have olive and boconccini bruschetta to start, followed by pizza.

Both came out at the same time and the olives had seeds in them. They tasted ok but the pizza was light on the toppings, for quality and taste, maybe a 5 or 5.5 out of 10. The service was relatively prompt but the waiting staff did not have great service skills, but I suppose that is standard for a club. The head waiter was quite good. We were not quite full when we left and are unlikely to return.
